You probably saw some purple flowers growing on that ledge back there. He'll need
to ingest those within sixty minutes or he'll drop over. I can't imagine he'll make it
back that far in his condition.
REGGIE
You'd kill your own brother?
KOON
Again, it wasn't me who bit him.
Reggie quickly kneels alongside Raven, who glares at Koon.
REGGIE
Can you use your powers to get back there?
RAVEN
No, I'm too weak.
KOON
You'd better hurry, my dear. You only have one hour to return that dagger--unless
you're feeling sympathetic toward Raven.
Raven glares at Koon.
RAVEN
She's not that stupid, Koon--and you wouldn't be so bold as to kill me.
KOON
(smirks)
Again--not me.
Reggie looks back to Raven with concern. Raven meets her gaze, stares a moment, and appears surprised.
RAVEN
Return that dagger, Reggie. Don't worry about me. Just go.
Reggie slowly stands. She looks to Koon then back to Raven. He looks up at her with a firm stare.
RAVEN
Take the dagger back--now.
Reggie turns and hurries back the way they had come for the antidote. Raven appears horrified and attempts to stand.
RAVEN
Reggie, no!
Koon laughs and vanishes. Dylan Creature slides beneath Raven's hand and helps steady him as he stands. Dylan Creature gurgles softly. Later. We see Reggie running along the beach with a fistful of purple flowers. Raven lie on the sand motionless while Dylan Creature lies sadly at his side. Reggie runs faster and falls to her knees near him.
REGGIE
I got them, Raven. You have to eat them--please.
Raven weakly takes a flower and eats it. We see a bright light approach them. Raven appears surprised and watches the light. Reggie appears concerned. Dylan Creature scurries behind Reggie and hides. The light appears in the form of a woman with only light as her features.
RAVEN
Mother?
LEOLA
Yes, my son. You've made your father and me very proud today. You took the final
step toward securing your future as a Light Force. You were willing to sacrifice your
own life for another. You will be joining us for eternity.
Raven slowly sits up and stares at the female light before them.
RAVEN
I'm honored, mother--but I can't.
Raven slowly pulls himself to his knees.
RAVEN
I have to deal with Koon in the only way he'll understand. I'll see him dead before
I ever allow him to harm Reggie.
LEOLA
(groans)
What did your brother do this time?
