School
I
studied in Bishop Johnson
School, Allahabad from nursery to 10th class. The school is affiliated
to the ICSE Board of Education. I can still recall my first day at
school when i wept the whole time until my father came to take me back
home. During my 13yrs in BJS i saw the school grow with me.The
Principal, Mr. N L Singh, raised the school to new heights n brought it
up among top 3 schools in Alld. Closed circuit cameras were installed
in all classrooms and labs were upgraded to ensure that practical were
not mere formality. He received a national award for his examplary
efforts.Our school first became college n recently i heard that its
goin to start degree courses as well. We excelled in the field of games
esp. basketball n boxing.
The principal (whom v called Nandu) made big money n raised the fees
regularly. He built big buildings for the school n i wud rather
appreciate him for improving alot the infrastructure of the school.He,
however,did little to improve the standard of teaching in school. There
was not much done to motivate students.
I feel that school is a place which no one can forget,b it for good
reasons or bad. Whatever might b my complaints, i still feel nostalgic
abt my school days n occasionaly find myself sitting in the class with
my friends, in dreams. i hope u all hav the same experience.
The most important person at my school whom i always remember is Mrs.
David.

wud not hesitate to say that
i remember my school for nothin but Mrs. David. She was my class
teacher in 8th,9th and 10th class. She was the only source of
inspiration for me. I hav not met a teacher of her calibre until now
even till the point of completion of my graduation. It was her hard
work, affection for the students n gentle nature which earned her
respect from all the students. I m looking forward to get some
opportunity to go to Allahabad where i wud meet all my school friends n
her.
