Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET)

The college is named after the great scholar of AMU, Dr. Zakir Hussain.He was appointed Vice Chancellor of AMU in Nov, 1948 and later on rose to the position of President of India.The foundation stone of the college was laid on November 21, 1938 and from then on, it has had its distinguished position among the top colleges of India.
The college facilitates with a Book Bank, which has a great resource of more than 1,50,000 books and journals. All the enrolled students get books issued for the academic year at a cost merely 15% of the original cost of the books. Apart from that all the departments have the facility of online subscription to desired journals.
Alongwith the academics, there is long way to go in extra curricular activities, which exposes the creativity side of AMUTechs. The AMU is famous since its inception for the Students-Teacher interaction. The entire AMU community is like a family with immensely supporting members.
