| 10/01/02 - MY BIRTHDAY! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: GRANDPA, GRANDMA, SUSIE EMO, UNCLE DON, GRACE EMO, SAM SAMCHUN, ANDY, AND ASHLEY That's a LONG shout-out, I know, but I feel it's appropriate. My birthday was actually yesterday, and I spent the weekend in Virginia, and all those people were there to celebrate with me. They made the weekend very fun and provided a nice, loving atmosphere...haha. So, thank you again my family. What elseh as happened in the time I didn't update? hrm... My mother is feeling much better, thank you everyone for your prayers. She is no longer too sick. Also, I donated blood last...Wednesday. I was walking back to my apartment and saw the BLOOD MOBILE. I went in and found out that I could donate blood, so I did. The Blood Mobile actually sounds very scary. But, I feel that I played a part in someone else's life, so I'm happy. I worked some more on another one of my songs. I think it will be done within the next two days, but the timing has to be JUST RIGHT when I unveil it. OH! I watched some movies over the weekend. I'll add reviews later, but they are: The Tuxedo, Super Troopers, and The Count Of Monte Cristo. Now, some brief messages: Mom, Dad, & Josh - I love you guys! Nathalie - Don't study so hard. Werflo - You!!! Christine - I'm glad you feel better. Andy - I mentioned you, happy? haha...I think I'll do something like this every update. But, for now I must go. I have to work out and sleep. So, farewell. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good Night & God Bless. 10/02/02 - PICTURES UPDATE! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: LAURA SMITH BIG PRAYER REQUEST! My dad is having a praise & worship concert this Friday and he's a little sick. Also, the projector he is going to be using is in the mail. So, if you guys could pray that the praise concert goes great and that God really blesses everyone who attends I'm sure whatever Satan's up to will fall flat...and if you're in Korea...GO CHECK IT OUT! Thanks, mom, for telling me all this. I was trying to go to bed early today, but it's already 11:30 and I'm not asleep yet. I'm going to have to make this update real fast because I have a class at 9:30 AM tomorrow, and I need a lot of sleep. I'm like...something that...needs a lot of sleep. haha, I'm tired. The big update to the site is a series of pictures Glen, Daniel, and me took at the US Embassy. haha, that's right, THE US Embassy. You're probably wondering what crazy hijinks we got into. Well, go to the pictures page and check it out. Today's shout-out is a birthday shout-out as well. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIS. Laura Smith is a great girl and if you know her you should call her up or send her an e-mail. In fact, call her up and leave "Jingle Bells" on her answering machine. It will remind her of home...haha, I just might explain that joke some other time. CHAR - Don't study so much, sure you have 85 AP classes, but that's no excuse. WERHO & GLEN - It was an honor taking those pictures with you. JEN GATES - I'll update the movies section...eventually. JOSH - Why are you so fly? MOM & DAD - I love you lots. Well, I'm off to bed. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/07/02 - MASSIVE HEADACHE... THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: MOM, DAD, & JOSH It's been a while since my last update. I spend part of the weekend at my good friend James Pederson's house. He came to Tampa and picked me and Kenny Anderson up. We then went to Ybor City which is like the main strip in Songtan...a lot of clubs. Then, we went back to James's house, which is a good 50 minutes away from where I live. We just chilled for the most part. Lori Shields managed to make it all the way from...another part of Florida that is pretty far from James. haha...I'm sorry, I have a MASSIVE HEADACHE...hence the title. I went to James's house on Thursday Night, but had to come back to Tampa Saturday night to "Strike" Theatre 1 after the production. Basically we took down all the sets and lights. The play finished at 2030 and we were working until 0300. I think that's part of the reason why I have a headache. I'm probably going to sleep as soon as I finish writing this. In fact, this is a pretty inadequate update, but I'll make a better one tomorrow. I promise...and I'll try hard not to break that promise. Anyways, please pray for my family back in Korea. Mom, Dad, & Josh...I hear that they are doing well, but I'm praying that they're EXTRA blessed. Josh, you know what you're doing. Dad, we'll jam out when I get back. Mom, the Elementary School kids are blessed to have a nurse like you. I miss you and love you all (This message goes out to all my friends & family). Well, I believe I'll go to sleep now. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/08/02 - WENT TO CLASS! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: JAMES PEDERSON I woke up this morning at 0830 and went back to sleep. My class starts at 0930, so that wasn't such a good idea, I probably would've slept through, BUT! Somebody called me at 0900, and it was a wrong number. Well, that woke me up, I thanked God for motivating me and went to class. It's a good thing I did. I found out I have 2 tests and a paper on Thursday. I added some prayer requests in the GOD section. I called my parents today. Talked for a little bit, they're doing alright. I cooked some Korean food for dinner. I did the dishes today. I think I'm the only person in the apartment who does dishes. One of my roommates said he'd do them, but never got around to it, so I ended up doing them. He said, "I owe you one." So, I'm debating whether I should take him up on it. You see, a few weeks ago, he invited a friend over (a LADY friend...haha). But, they got in a fight and made up, but seldom talk. Well, she's a very attractive girl, so I'm wondering if he'll hook me up...haha. I know I only did the dishes, but it...kind of...balances out. Sort of. haha... The shout-out goes to James Pederson for driving me around and allowing me to spend the night at his house. Even if he doesn't have the guts to talk to the Chinese Food waitress, he's still my boy. Just playing. I'm slowly coming to the realization that I have two distinct personalities and it weirds me out. There's me: the one that's goofy and jokes and stuff, but lately I've been seeing what I call "artist me". It sounds better than "evil me", haha. Artist Me is a lot moodier and stuff. I think it's Artist Me that screws up most of the relationships I have with girls. Like, Artist Me wants to take over because he thinks he can do things better, but it's regular me that the girls are attracted to...Does that sound weird? haha. I'm still trying to figure that out. Well, I guess that's all for tonight. I think this was a better update than yesterday's. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/11/02 - FUT-BAL!!! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: JOSHUA CHO For your information, that's a "u" as in bull, and an "a" as in wallaby...the first "a" in wallaby. Yep, that's right. I just thought I'd misspell the word football. But, it's cool to not be able to spell...don't believe me? Check out the track list on the Linkin Park - Reanimation CD. You'll actually feel yourself losing brain cells...haha. But, the news is the Osan Cougars will be playing the Taegu Warriors today (It's Saturday in Korea). It's the first game of the season, or at least the first game for Osan, and my brother is the starting quarterback. Which is why I felt the need to give him some extra props today. God Bless, brah, play well. I took my mid-terms yesterday. I had a test for Acquisition of Knowledge, which is kind of like a philosophy class. The questions were over Plato's Republic and Descartes's Meditations On First Philosophy. There was a BONUS question, too. It was like, "Is there a question you wished I had asked? If so, ask it and answer it." haha...I wish every test had that question on it. The College Algebra Exam was over Functions. What are those? haha...I feel like a slacker every time I walk into that class, but I'm also realizing that I'm lazy. I don't think I've learned and retained anything mathematical since...Freshman Year or so. I need to overcome this laziness. AND my paper was beastly. I never actually say that I saw the play, but it still feels kind of deceitful. Pray for my conscience...and my laziness...haha. Well, that's all for today. I'm about to go to Kenny Anderson's house and chill there with James Pederson. I left my keys at his house, and so he's returning them, and then we're going to chill. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Goodbye & God Bless. 10/12/02 - ODYSSEY? THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: JAMES PEDERSON & KENNY ANDERSON I was blessed to be able to stay at the Anderson's house last night, so I'd like to give Kenny a shout-out (and a shout-out to his brothers, too: Carl, Robert, & Jeremy [not a brother, but he lives there, too]). Also, thanks to James Pederson for returning my keys to me. Now, I can finally return the office's keys and get back to my normal schedule. I had a great time at the Anderson's house, but the walk back really got me thinking. Maybe it was the walk coupled with the fact that I finished reading Cold Mountain a little while ago, but I want to go an odyssey. You know, a journey, trek, etc. When I think about it, all you need for an odyssey is a destination and a motivation. Once I have those, I'll be off. Sometimes, I get a yearning for a simpler, less complicated life. haha...just me and the open road. Actually, I was hoping I could take some friends along for the trip, but I still really want to wander. When I picture it, I see myself walking through forests and over mountains, haha...it's crazy, I know. Civilization has left very little wilderness to wander through, but one day I'd like to try. So, you heard it here first. Someday, I'm going to go on an odyssey, and if you want to join me. You're more than welcome to. Hrm...I'm writing this really early, but I wanted to write that down before I forgot about it. That's now one of my goals in life. But, right now, I need to do my laundry, wash the dishes (dude, I'm the only one in my room who washes dishes...makes me sad), and work-out. Then, I'll sit down and think some more, haha...I'm a very thoughtful person as of late. Well, that's all for now. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Goodbye & God Bless 10/14/02 - GYM! RAARRGGHH! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: JASON BLANCHARD, DANIEL WERHO, & MIKE ODOM I actually woke up early today. I was up at 8, showered and left the house by 9, ate breakfast and arrived at the gym at 10. I worked out for about an hour and a half, then sat and read in the lounge until 12. At 12 I had my Salsa dance class, but today was a really productive day. I'm so proud of myself. I have a midterm for my Intro to Tech Theatre class tomorrow, so I studied for that. And I ordered wings, mmmm...wings. I love chicken, it's so tasty. Tomorrow, I have to go to this meeting for my good buddy James Pederson. He's been trying to talk me into joining his startup business, but I'm not really feeling it (too much work.) haha...but, he's making money from this job, which is based on a pyramid system. I don't know too much about it, so I won't say any more. Two weeks from now, I'll see Char! YEAH! In the Stuff section, I've added a list of the new movies coming out that I intend on seeing, check it out. And once I see the movie, I'll add a review. Today's shout-out goes to Jason Blanchard, Daniel Werho & Mike Odom. All three of these guys have very awesome webpages AND have links to my page. Mike even went through the trouble of making me the bomb graphic. CHECK IT OUT!!! TOO SEXY! In fact, we were worried it'd be a little too sexy, but it ended up coming out with the exact right amount of sexiness. So, go check these guys's pages out. I don't think guys's is a word, but oh, well. I'm tired, so off to bed I shall go... Whoa! Just got a call from Charlie Zhang, this guy who goes to USF, he's a total G. He's doing alright, in case anyone was wondering, I'll have to tell you about this guy later. Guy's awesome. But, that's all for now. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/15/02 - THE UNTHINKABLE HATH OCCURRED... THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: GOD The unthinkable happened today. I failed one of my midterms. I feel kind of ashamed of myself, because it was the College Algebra Exam, I failed. And I'm Asian. And I took that class in like 9th Grade. But, I really have to thank God for this. Well, not for the failing, but yes for the failing. You see, I haven't really been taking college too seriously, and if I had passed this midterm (I didn't study at all for it), then I probably would've continued slacking off until it eventually caught up with me. But, this is a BIG wake-up call, especially since I thought I'd pass this exam. Another blessing God provided is that I'll have a chance to make up this exam. Because I failed (Sorry, Mom & Dad, but don't worry I'm going to make it up) I'm going to work harder. And I have to say that this week is by far the best week I've had so far. I've finally gotten into that schedule that I've been talking about and I'm hoping that I can keep it up. I've worked a lot of things into this first run version of my schedule, but I find that I still have time, as opposed to when I didn't have a schedule and didn't have any time. Schedule just makes it run smoother I guess. Well, aside from the bad/good news, I don't have much to add. Well, actually...I found out that Linsey Kyle has a link to my site which made me pretty happy. And I checked out that business James Pederson is in. I'm going to check it out some more and talk about it later. God gets my shout-out, but I want you to know that every day I give a shout-out to God, for all that he's done for me. It's just today, I felt that I needed to make that shout-out extra vocal. Now, I'm going to go study. Something I've neglected to do for a while. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/17/02 - CAN YOU SAY "A-"? THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: CHAR LAUGHLIN I gave my speech today in my Acquisition of Knowledge and the teacher busted out a Mr. Marcum. I'm not talking about little hops (Mr. Marcum is a total g, by the way...GREAT teacher). But, he came up to me after the talk and was like, "I'm afraid I'm going to have to give you an A-..." I'm like, "DON'T BE AFRAID!!! That's fine!" Apparently, I was a bit "hesitant", but hey, it's the "cute, nice guy" look that I'm going for, haha. But, I'm happy, because I think I'm going to be able to get straight A's this semester. hrm...something that irritates me, just for your information. One of my roommates did the dishes, but only did his...and then he came up to me and was like, "Better get cracking on your dishes..." Well, those weren't his exact words, but I was like, "Dude...I did the dishes so many times, and I did yours with mine...who are you to segregate?" Of course, I didn't say any of that, because I don't like confrontation...I'll probably do my dishes tonight. haha...AND I wrote a new song. Actually, I didn't really write it, we have the beautiful Char Laughlin to thank for that. She wrote the lyrics, I wrote the music and the song is twice as sexy now. I think a lot of people will like it, so if you talk to Char online, give her a compliment on her total sexiness. What else is going on! OH! I'm going to check my mid-term grades right now. And then I'll post them tomorrow. I have to do this worksheet, and I think I need a Quotes page...I've heard some funny stuff. It will be in the Stuff section...nobody ever goes there. Mike Odom updated his Quotes page, and even added a Cho Jokes link on there. TOO SEXY! It's been a goal of mine to get on his Quotes page. Well, that's all I'll add for now. I might update again later tonight...haha...two updates in one day!? That's crazy!!! I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Goodbye & God Bless. 10/21/02 - A LOT COULD'VE HAPPENED... THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: TIMOTHY DRUMM A lot could've happened...and did. My roommate, Tim, invited me back to his hometown for the weekend. And a lot happened. I learned how to drive...kind of...still having trouble parking between the lines. I got to eat homecooked meals (White Chili...yum, Ice Cream Cake...yum, Meatballs...yum). I took the Korean soccer team through a couple of tournaments (FIFA 2002!!!). I got to meet TWO dogs. I watched Antz again (only for Colonel Cutter, though...voiced by CHRISTOHPER WALKEN!!!) I went to church. I bought a hat from the GAP...my hair was looking wack that day. I went to see THE TRANSPORTER!!! (3 exclamation points = a totally sexy movie in every way...) I heard from Susie Emo (who is safe, despite the attacks of the Beltway Sniper). Yep, a lot happened this weekend. THANK YOU, TIM for inviting me. I woke up today, on time, and I made it to the gym. Unfortunately something I ate for breakfast didn't agree with me, and I had stomach troubles. I had to wait until after class to workout, but it really made me sad. I went to my Costumes class to do some ironing. Seriously, ironing is so hard to do. Every time I try to iron in a straight line it gets messed up. I did the dishes today. Oh, last night...or sometime early this morning I was again disappointed by my roommates. I woke up because my roommate had guests over and they were very loud. And someone nearly set of the smokedetector ("Dude, I was trying to cook this hamburger and it just burnt...")...made me sad, but I still got enough sleep so I'm happy. I get to go bowling this Thursday! I'm joining an Intramural Volleyball Team !! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY...I get to see Char this weekend!!!!! (5 exclamation points = WAY TOO SEXY...) That's all for today. I need to sleep. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/22/02 - ...ONE STEP BACK... THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: PAUL BOCK I know my parents read this site, but I can't leave anything out because I feel that would be lying to them. Anyways, I'm kind of mad at myself because I slept in today. Just when I thought I was getting in the hang of things I sleep in. But, I'm not going to be discouraged. In fact, I'm going to bed as soon as I finish my shower after I finish writing this. My dad right now is thinking, "After he showers? That's going to be in like 4 hours..." haha...It'll be short. I'm just going to rinse off the sweat I accumulated during my work-out. I have to shower again tomorrow morning. If only to get my hair back in non-puffed out mode. The reason I slept in today was because I was reading last night. I think that's what it was. I wanted to read this book so I read some even though it was past my bedtime. Just goes to show that once you make a set of rules for yourself you should stick by them...like The Transporter. Which was an awesome movie...but, anyways, despite reading late I read this really great story that I'd like to share with everyone, but it's kind of long. It's called Murder Mysteries by Neil Gaiman. It's a short story, but it's really deep. It has to do with God, angels, and Lucifer...made me think. I'll probably transcribe it or write a synopsis for it sometime. I met Paul Bock in the 4th grade and we've been friends since then. He's a great guy and I just felt like giving him a shout-out...and I also feel bad for not updating the Friends section with his info. I'll try and do it tomorrow, but now I have to sleep. It's getting late. Well, I hope everyone's doing great. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/24/02 - WHEN YOU BELIEVE! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: THE OSAN COUGARS Now, some of my SAHS friends are going to get all up in my face saying, "How can you be cheering from for the Osan team?" My response to this is "Blood is thicker than water..." And my brother is blood and so he gets my vote for total domination. My true SAHS friends won't even ask that, because they already understand. I've still got love for all my homies, ya heard? With that, I just want to ask everyone to pray for the Osan Cougars who I believe have a really good team this year. And according to Mariah Carey & Whitney Houston, "There can be miracles when you believe!" (Who else thought that that song was going to turn into a diva battle...it kind of did.) So, let's go OSAN COUGARS, baby! And I'd now like to ask for a prayer request for my dad. He's an enigma so I won't tell you too much about him...besides, I like you guys being intimidated by him. Just please keep him in your prayers and bless him with patience. Dad, I love you and I hope you're doing well. I'm doing good. In fact, I wrote another song today. I have so many songs...if any of these songs start popping up on Kazaa, I'm going to beat someone down, haha...Everyone my CD will be available next year. I have about 6-7 good songs, now. The one I just wrote is one I really like. It's about not worrying about finding that girl, because God's already found her and He's just waiting for the right time to reveal her. Nice theme, huh? For girls, you can switch that to guys, but since I'm singing I use girl...what else would I use? Well, that's the only update for now. I miss you, everbody. Take care of yourself. Goodbye & God Bless. 10/27/02 - O-R-L-A-N-D-O! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: EVERYBODY IN ORLANDO (plus TONY & JOELLE) I just came back from a blast of a weekend. I took the greyhound on Friday. Here's a weird story. I had just read that the actor Richard Harris (Harry Potter, Gladiator, Count Of Monte Cristo) had passed away. So, I was kind of bummed, but I was at the bus station when this guy started asking me questions about the bus ("I need to get to Atlanta and it says I need to be on this bus, but it's going the long way to Atlanta...") I didn't know what to tell him it being my first ride on the Greyhound (at least to my memory), so I just kind of apologized. Well, I looked at my ticket and happened to glance at his, and the guy's name was Richard Harris. And the guy even looked like Richard Harris...just kidding, this Richard Harris was a black guy. Weird, huh? Well, not THAT weird, but I did a double take. As for the weekend, it was a truly wonderful blessing. I spent the first night at the Blanchard's and got to meet his neighbors. They were just chilling, drinking and stuff. But, I met a dude who looked like Vin Diesel...not as buff, but still he was like a doppelganger, haha...I've been wanting to use that word. His name was Mike, I'll try to get a picture or something. I watched True Romance that night (Christopher Walken was REALLY evil in this movie...more evil than usual). Then on Saturday I spent the day with Char and her family (THANKS SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING MR. & MRS. LAUGHLIN). I got to eat a good meal and I got to go shopping. I had to pick up a sewing kit for my Costume class. Then, Char, Katie (Char's friend), & I went to Blockbuster and met Beatrice (B), Megan, and ?someoneelse? (Char's friends). Then we went back to Megan's house and watched Bring It On (the movie we rented was too boring). Also, Char whooped up on me in Galaga or Galaxia (one of those old shooting arcade games). I worked out at Char's house and went to sleep. You know, ever since I saw Char Saturday morning I kept thinking of Anakin Skywalker from Episode II for some reason, haha..."Just being around her again was...intoxicating..." And Jason was like OBI-WAN! Or something like that, I'm tired. I went to Char's church today (Catholic Mass...I was confused) and then I went back to Jason Blanchard's house. We watched the Buc's game...they shouldn't have won, but HURRAY! Then we played Tony Hawk...and I showed everyone what playing Tony Hawk for months straight will do to your video game skating skills. For some reason, I kind of despise that game...I'll write the whole story in this week's installment of the Girls section. Then, I got a ride back with Tony & Joelle (I'm afraid I keep spelling her name wrong). They were very nice/cool/interesting people. They are such an awesome couple...they're very passionate about a lot of things and they love to talk...no, seriously, they LOVE to talk, haha. We talked about nationalism all the way back. GO KOREA and ALBANIA and CUBA and WHATEVER COUNTRY YOU ARE FROM!!! Well, that was a very lengthy update, but hey, a lot happened. Thanks once again to everyone for showing me hospitality this weekend. Jesus Bless! And now the obligatory: I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/28/02 - ANOTHER DAY... THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: CHRIS ROLLER I woke up on time and everything went according to schedule (Shower, Breakfast, Gym) up until my first class (Salsa Dancing II)...the teacher didn't show up! So, I ended up going to the bookstore and sat around reading which made me late for my Lab work. I showed up about an hour late, but it was okay because I was only there for extra hours anyway. I worked there and then I went to my other class (Arts/Humanities: Performance) which was easy as usual. Then, I went and got some dinner. And now I'm back home trying to find something productive to do. I don't even know why my roommates bother trying to hide the fact that they're smoking up. Honestly, do they think I can't smell it? That mess seeps under my closed door and gives me headaches...upsetting. Another thing that's been getting on my nerves are the rap songs that I download. I've been wanting to hear some rap and I download these versions with DJ Clue yelling "Yeah...<song name>...DJ CLUE...DESERT STORM...etc." over the song. But, besides that I've been doing good. I think I'm starting to settle...I actually held conversations with people today. I guess I have this weekend to thank for that...thanks again everyone in Orlando. And I talked to Chris Roller today. She gave me Kyle Miner's phone #, who I will call presently. We also reminisced and I'm beginning to think that as I matured I forgot all my immature actions...but, I haven't matured THAT much anyways, oh, well. I'm tired. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/29/02 - THE WERHO BROS ARE OKAY... THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: THE WERHO BROTHERS I picked up a school newspaper and in one of the blurbs talked about a shooting at the University of Arizona. I quickly read the article and found out that 3 teachers and a student were killed. Apparently, the student was failing nursing school and decided to kill 3 of his professors and himself. I talked to Werho (Daniel) about it and he said it was pretty tense over there. It seems that the entire nation is tense. The Beltway Sniper started something that won't go away so quickly I think. These are violent times. Werho (Daniel) and I continued the conversation and we were talking about how the media does have a way of influencing this. I remembered how just this past summer I was playing Grand Theft Auto on the Playstation and I was like, "Awesome! Sniper Rifle!" I look back at that now and I'm like, "Jon...you're a jerk..." Werho responded with "It's a shame some people are such jerks that they can't tell the difference between game and reality..." And the thing is the student in Arizona went through something that all of us can relate to. I'm sure we've all thought to ourselves that one time when we were in that helpless situation, "This is it...I can't recover from this one." I just wish someone could've talked to him before he snapped and told him that everything would be okay. Just pray for the tension in the United States these days and if you see someone who looks stressed out of their minds tell them that everything's going to be alright and pray for them. Well, I guess that's all for tonight. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/29/02 - DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME!? (SECOND UPDATE) THE SECOND SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: SUSIE EMO This is my second update for today just because I just found out about Daylight Savings Time. Apparently you're supposed to set your clock back an hour on Sunday or something like that. I wish someone would've told me this. I wanted to call Kyle Miner so I called him up and got his dad and he was like, "Yeah, Kyle doesn't get off of work until 11:30..." So, I'm thinking, "Okay, I'll call back in half an hour." I call back and his dad's like, "I said 11:30," and I'm like, "It is 11:30", and he's like, "No...it's 10:30." I'm confused now because my clock says 11:30 and then he says, "You didn't set your clock back for dayligh savings time did you?" So, I just got an extra hours worth of time to update my page with. I called my aunt who made jokes about me. Yesterday when I got to class "early" and everyone waited around for the teacher who "didn't show up"...I bet she got there an hour later and was like, "Stupid kids didn't set there time back for DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME." haha...actually, I think she just missed class, my clocks were the only ones that weren't set to the right time. Well, I just thought I'd share with everyone my wonderful first experience with Daylight Savings Time. Now, I'm really going to sleep. And Dad, I'm sorry if I'm embarassing you...I love you. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. 10/30/02 - ONE MORE DAY TIL HALLOWEEN! THE SHOUT-OUT OF THE DAY GOES TO: TRACY KECK Halloween...I'm SO excited! Actually not that excited, but Halloween does bring some good memories. Quick review of my old Halloween costumes...or the ones I remember. Of course, there was the Ninja Turtle phase. Then I think I went as a G.I.Joe. I went as Micheal Jackson once (prescandal, when he was the King of Pop and not a sex joke). I went as a girl one time, haha. The last thing I remember would have to be a secret agent, actually I think I was one of the Roxbury brothers. Yeah, that was it. Halloween is so fun. Especially for people who want to be actors. I saw Tracy Keck online today! We talked and she said she'd visited the site. She used to have the bomb-diggity site, but she shut it down. She's doing alright and we made plans to maybe see each other this summer or something. Her family's in VA, which is where I spend my summers. I'd also like to give props to BYU, which is Tracy's school, and I know that she'll thank me for the props. She's so spirited, school-wise and in all other aspects as well. Today was one of those days. I woke up at 8, but went back to sleep after I decided I didn't want to work out today. I woke up at 10, but went back to sleep because I figured I could shower after class. I woke up at 11, but went back to sleep because class didn't start until 12. I woke up at 11:30, but went back to sleep. I woke up at 11:45, but went back to sleep. I woke up at 11:50, got out of bed and went to class. Was there ever any doubt? haha...my teacher didn't show up again today. I just watched some new movie previews. I'll talk about them in the stuff section...they look like they'll be really good movies. I'll go to bad shortly after. I have a class at 9:30 tomorrow and I want to shower. I also have a test. So pray for me please. That's all for now. I miss you, everybody. Take care of yourself. Good night & God Bless. |
