We are so glad that you want to be a part of the family of God! We Love you and most importantly Jesus Loves you. Did you know He Loves you so much; He gave His Life for you. The Bible says: For God so Loved the World that He gave His only Son to die on the Cross that whosoever Believes in Him (and that means you- Yes You! Isn't it wonderful!!!) would have Everlasting Life. John 3:16
First- just admit you are a sinner. The Bible says: We have all sinned and Fall short of His Glory. Romans 3:23
The Bible says that the end result of our sins is death-an eternal seperation from God, Romans 6:23and that God is the only solution from our sins. John 14:6
Second-Confess your sins to God.- just tell Him you are very sorry for the sins you have committed and that you won't do them anymore and tell Him to help and guide you into doing what is right. The Bible says :If we confess our sins He will forgive our sins and purify us from all our wrong doing. 1John 1:9 Then when we confess and ask Gods forgiveness, God says we will become his children. John 1:12
Thirdly- we must believe and hold onto what He promised. The Bible says: that through His promises you can participate in His divine nature that means what is His is now yours and He will help you escape the things of the world caused by our evil desires that we are born with. 2 Peter 1:4
