Stone Tower Temple
Map for steps 1-12
This temple will most likely be the longest temple as in time. Partially because it is pretty confusing at times. Plus, you will have to flip this tower upside down, but how?
Step 1: Room A
Enter the temple with arrows in handy. If not, there are jars on the floor that you can get arrows from. You should see a real bombchu and two dragonflies when you enter. Take all of them out. Now, shoot the eye switch on the face statue and jump over to the treasure chest that appears. Open it and get fariy #1. Exit through the door on the left.
Step 2: Room B
Enter this room and you see yet another real bombchu. Take it out. There are also a couple more, so you might wanna take them out as well. The object in this room is to step on all of the switches using the Elegy of Emptiness and get to room C. But you notice that there are three small switches and one big. Since Deku Link isn't big enough to hold down a switch, you have to find something else. If you go and find some boxes next to a switch, you have found you're answer. Use the box. Pick it up and drop it on the switch. When the door opens, head out to Room C.
Step 3: Room C
Take out the dragonflies and head over to the dirt patch. It has no plants on it. Bomb the patch. This causes light to fall down into the room below. Now you can either jump down the hole or use the stairs to the north.
Step 4: Room D
As you enter Room D, you should notice a hookshot mark on the wall to the right. Hookshot over there to collect fairy #2. Now, use the Mirror Shield to reflect light onto the sun block. Change into goron Link to cross the lava and grab the chest with the dungeon map inside. Goron punch the four armos, once to activate, and another to kill. Once all of them are gone, a small chest materializes with a small key.
Step 5: Room E
Take the stairs back up to Room C and use the small key on the locked door. This leads you into a room with a pool. This should automatically tell you that you will be using the zora mask. What you need to do here is dive under and porpoise jump onto the other side. If you haven't had much practice doing it then you can consider this practice time. Grab the small key there, then go through the underwater passage guarded by a dixiehand.
Step 6: Room F
Now you enter a large two-story room. The bottom is Room F on the map, and the top as Room G. First, look on the bottom of the floor for a switch surrounded by spikes. Use your boomerang attack to destroy them, and make the trip to the switch safer. Step on the switch, and a treasure chest appears upside-down. Now rise up to the platform in the middle.
Step 7: Room G
Get on top of the platform and head north. Use fire arrows to hit the eye switch above the doorway. This causes another treasure chest to appear above you. Now, go to the south side of the room. You notice that there's a mirror. This mirror is different from most mirrors. It is able to charge up on sunlight, and reflect it in the direction it's pointing. So, you want to charge up that mirror as long as possible, or about 2-3 minutes, and then quickly run over while it is giving out the light and reflect it to the sun block there. When it melts away, open the chest and you get the compass! Head back to the North end and exit there.
Step 8: Room H
This room was probably made for wearing the Stone Mask, because it will help a lot to wear it in here, partially because you won't have black boes and Nejiron bothering you. The object for this room is to charge up the mirrors and melt a sun block, along with getting fairy #3 and #4. First, goron punch the circular stones blocking the sunlight from falling down into the room. Then, charge up the mirrors and get to the sun block on the East side of the room. Melt it, open the chest and you get fairy #3. Now you need to get rid of the sun block on the North side of the room. You can then go through there to the next room, but you need to get fairy #4 first. Go to where you punched out the circular stones and if you look up on the walls you see four sun switches on each wall. Only one works though. Shine sun on the one that does and a treasure chest appears with fairy #4. Open the chest and then head through the northern exit.
Step 9: Room I
This is a tough room to get the fairies in here. Goron curl skills and deku gliding skills are tested in this room. First, take the ladder to the bottom of the room and change into goron Link. There is a goron switch that causes another switch in the lava to have flames desurround it. Without pushing the switch the other switch stays in flames. This is a tough task to do, especially because it is timed, but you will get it after some practice. Hit the switch and it causes flames around a treasure chest to dissolve. Now, head back up the ladder and turn into deku Link. What you need to do is make it to where the vents are. These will give you extra air and a longer flight. After the first vent, you need to turn to the left and see a little cavern with a treasure chest and rupees. Open the chest and claim fairy #5. Then you can jump back down to the vent and continue one, or you can jump down as goron Link and start over. But anyways, you need to make it to the other side where the other fairy is. Getting there may be tough because you have to make a tight turn right into a bombchu that is hard to escape. But once you get to the ledge, open the chest to claim fairy #6, and head through the door, making sure you have enough health.
Step 10: Room J
"I can sense a loom for blood around us, but I can't see it. Don't you have a mask that can summon the unseen?" Yeah, it's that time again. Except for you will be facing the Boss Garo now. He has two main attacks. One, to come straight at you like the other garos, and to suprise you from behind. This move is more of a teleport move, and the best time to slash him. As he is doing his first attack, get out of the way. Then he will teleport straight up and come down somewhere slashing his sword and looking for you. Here is your chance! Hit him with your sword as he is looking for you. Hit him three times and he is dead. Then he gives you a hint; a BIG hint. "Use the light of justice against the bloodshed red stain and worlds will turn upside down." Light of Justice? Bloodshed red stain? These may not make sense until you get your reward for the victory, the Light Arrows! Light of Justice should now make sense. If you remember the bloodshed red stain outside the temple, you need to head there, but we need to make a few stops first.
Step 11: Rooms K and L
Use your hookshot to pull off the mask off the hiploop. Defeat it with a sword strike. Continue through the door to Room L, which is actually the bridge over room E. Here you need to defeat an eyegore. just shoot it's eye with an arrow when it turns yellow. After defeating it a treasure chest appears. Open it to claim fairy #7.
Step 12: Room A
Keep walking across the bridge and the door there will get you to room A. Head outside the temple, shoot the stain, and you will now be turned upside-down and so will everything else in the temple!
