Ikana Canyon
OK. You need the Garo's Mask to get in, and you also need Epona. Use Epona to get over the two sets of fences. Now, you will need to go to the graveyard, which is to the left. Now, you see a giant skeleton sleeping. Play the Sonata of Awakening, and he awakens, and starts running away! Shoot him with an arrow to stun him (use fire arrows for a funny effect :-D ). Now run up to him and slash him as many times with your sword. If you come too late, he will guard you from hitting him by making a wall of fire and two stalchildren. Just hit them with your sword and the fire ring will go away. Now repeat the process until he gives up. He will then name you captain of the stalchildren, and will put out the fire guarding the chest. Hookshot over and you get the Captain's Hat. You can now command all of the stalchildren and get advice from them (Like in the Ocean Spiderhouse). I have made a seperate link for the events in the graveyard.

Now, put on the Garo's Mask, and talk to the guy sitting on top of the ledge. He says he likes the mask and it will be useful in the canyon to heal creatures souls. Then he pulls out a tree for you to Hookshot up to. You are now free to explore the rest of Ikana Canyon. It seems like a quiet place. You see Sakon running around. Talk to him and he tells you that strange things have been happening in Ikana. He also asks if he can see your sword. Whatever you do, DON'T GIVE IT TO HIM! He will steal your sword. I have never let him steal it. If he does, just reset your N64. Be sure that you have saved all your info before Sakon stole your sword.

Now, you need to get up to the actual part of the canyon where everything happens, but you can't get to the bridge on the other side. What are the octoroks for? Just like in the Great Bay Temple, freeze them in the ice temple to get to the other side. Now use your Hookshot to get to the top of all of the trees, and you will get to the top. You notice that it looks like everything is dead. Gidbos (they look like mummies) are running around a house. And there is a dried out riverbed. Hit the owl statue to your left if you don't want to make that climb again. You are now going to fill up the riverbed, and you must know the Song of Storms. Now head to the mouth of the riverbed. You meat Sharp, Flat's brother. Sharp tells you that you do not belong in Ikana Canyon. But since you stay, he asks you if you wish to join the dead. He then starts to inflict pain on you. Simply play the Song of Storms, and you've solved the problem. He then has one last request for you: solve the problem at Stone Tower. Then he vainishes away.

You have the water running, and it's time to collect another important mask. It is not a transforming mask this time. You see the music house, and a girl running outside. It is best to use the Stone Mask here. Go inside the house without Pamela noticing. Head to the basement, and a strange man comes out. He is half gidbo. Play the Song of Healing. Pamela comes running in and she hugs her father. It is really an emotional scene since he turns back to normal. You then get the Gidbo Mask. This mask is so real that a real gidbo would mistake you for one of its own!

Now you need to head to the well. Just go up the ramps to the left of the owl statue and find the well. I have made a seperate link for the events in the well here.

After completing the well, and getting the mirror shield, you notice a sun block. Use the mirror shield to direct the sunlight falling down on the sun block. Now you can head into the Ancient Ikana Castle. You need to come with a powder keg. I have also made a seperate link for the steps through the castle.

Beating the King and his Servants tells them that you are the one to save Ikana and bring life back to the canyon. They then teach you the Elegy of Emptiness: C-Right, C-Left, C-Right, C-Down, C-Right, C-Up, C-Left. Now you have to run up to Stone Tower. This is the entrance way to the Stone Tower Temple. Using the Elegy of Emptiness to make shells of yourself, use the switches to make the blocks move and make bridges to the other side. Complete the puzzle and you make the way to the top of the tower, and into the temple. Now you can finally beat the last boss of all of the temples!
