Step One
At Point A on the map, give the Gidbo the five magic beans, and head through that room and give the gidbo on the east the 10 Deku Nuts. Now head back to Room A. Be sure to wear your Gidbo Mask, or else he will attack you. After you give him the magic bean, give the other gidbo the blue potion and enter through that room. You will come to a passage way with spiked logs. Go to the room immidiately to the left. This is Room B on the map. Fill a bottle with Spring Water and another bottle with a fish for the upcoming gidbos. Now make your way through the spiked logs.
Step Two
Give the gidbo to the left a fish and the gidbo to the north the spring water. Go through the northern door and get three bottles of bugs. If you need bombs, pick them up from the room to your right. Now head through the northern door and give the gidbos in that room their bugs that they want. Behind the door to the north is a miny fairy fountain where you can heal woulds and pick up a fairy if you want. Behind the door to the east is a room with a treasure chest of 50 rupees.
Step Three
Now this next task may be a little tough. First, head to the room marked at Point D. Inside the room, grab another fish, and shoot an arrow at the eyeball shooting fire. Now turn into zora Link and take out the dixiehand. Quickly run into the room. Now have your Bunny Hood on, fill your bottle with the Hot Springs water, and run all the way to Room E. Then put on your gidbo mask and give him the Hot Springs Water. It is on the eastern side of the well.
Step Four
This side of the well is a little more livelier than the western side. Now enter the room that you just gave the hot springs water to. Get a bottle of milk by playing Epona's Song by the cow. Go back to Room E and give the gidbo to the north 10 bombs. Enter that room, defeat the Big Poe, and quickly grab the spirit before it disappears. Head back to the previous hallway.
Step Five
If you haven't already done so, give your last fish to the gidbo guarding the door back in Room G. You are almost done! Give the bugs to the gidbo that wants them, and defeat the Giant Skultulas and you get 50 rupees! Give the Big Poe spirit to the gidbo guarding the room to the north. You now have to make your way through the spiked logs, This time, they are going both horizontally and vertically. Make your way through, and give the milk to the last gidbo. You now enter Room I. Light all of the torches and you see a treasure chest materialize. Open it and you get the Mirror Shield! It is an all out replacement of the Hero's Shield. Plus, you can reflect certain sunlight using the shield. You will get practice here. Reflect the light onto the sun block and you now can go to the Ancient Ikana Castle!
