I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Cookeville High School Interact Club webpage. We are honored to have you as our guest, and we hope you enjoy our webpage.
Today, technology is increasing at an alarming rate and building a "new world" in the process. With the touch of a button,a person can have the whole world at their fingertips through technology. The internet, as a result, has become the ultimate medium for interaction and is helping promote international understanding, one of the purposes of Interact.
From the original 35 members of the club in 1992 to the current membership of 85, the purpose of our club has remained consistent with that of all Interact clubs. That purpose states that Interact will serve as a way to bring young people together in a fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding. From sponsoring Red Cross blood drives to providing vocational equipment to students in India, the projects we do reflect that purpose. Now, this webpage will reflect that purpose by encouraging international understanding, serving as a link to other Interact Clubs, and by serving as a fellowship forum for our club.
