Rebellion
19th September
2004
It is
human nature to rebel. The mind has
never accepted limitations. Be it
spiritual, civil, or even self governed.
The human has always chosen to excel -
and excel it does by breaking previous
records which in itself is a hurdle.
Perfection is hence arbitrary and hardly
absolute. It is a welcome word which
motivates ambition. The rat race is seen
in every context of life. Everyone
trying to outdo each other, be it in
science, economy or everyday life.
Common sense suggests that eventually
one would get so frustrated with the
idea of overzealous growth that it would
wreck its own self. To be encompassed
within sanity, the man draws rules and
norms. It creates a culture and names it
society. If you come to think of it in
the same light, religion hence is but to
tame and restrain human inhabitations. I
sometimes feel we are nothing more than
puppets in a game we don't understand. |
