Today, more than ever, image is an essential component of the business strategy. Your image starts with the way you introduce yourself; your name. In the case of companies a large part of
that introduction is dependant on the impact of their corporate or brand logo.
Successful companies tend to pay great attention to the design of their corporate logo. It has been rumoured that one major
distribution company rooted in Alexandria had paid a sum in tens of thousands of US Dollars to a French corporate image company to redesign their logo. The French consultants stayed for a number of months touring the
various divisions of the company and learning more and more about their client's business & corporate culture. In the end of the "briefing" period, the team returned to France and started working on the
new logo, which was, in many ways, well worth the investment.
Simple rules must be followed; 1. Be Simple, 2. Be Memorable, 3. Be Distinctive, 4. It helps if the logo says something about the company or product.
