ATVAGAS (College Club, MGC, Cochran)
(From Shair Fiachna, Advisor)
Atvagas students have attended two events this fall.

Justin Hsu, Nathaniel Varnedoe, Lee Moore, and club president Troy Ryckeley all daytripped Danelaw. It was Lee's second event and Troy's sixth. The boys helped with field set up and take down. They also served feast. Nathaniel bought a short sword, and Justin bought a tunic.

Alicia Hudson, Dana Dunaway, and Troy Ryckeley all attended Champions' List. The girls enjoyed the blackwork and German costuming classes; Troy helped Gryffri with pavilion set up. All were very helpful in the after feast kitchen clean-up and other areas.

Alicia won the student costume contest on Halloween dressed as a medieval lady in the dress Dana made for her. Dana has been making garb for the other club members.

On Tuesday, October 30, Peter (Fiachna) and Collin armored up on campus. Alicia and Dana came in their garb. Troy was dressed as a "squire" assisting the "knights", and Melissa Berens was the herald. They were posing for the next incarnation of the MGC catalog/brochure at the request of the administration.

CAMDEN TOR
Congratulations to Sayyida Zada and Lord Tatheg (Castlemere, Trimaris) on the birth of their daughter, Elizabeth Lynn Marie! Zada, having just been awarded her AoA, was rushed from the Panhandle Skirmishes site that Sunday (10/21) morning, and the news came to the Consortium Yahoo group that evening courtesy of the Proud Papa. Photos to the left of Zada and Elizabeth (top) and "Grandma" Dinah (bottom) are courtesy of Zada's friend Brian (click for large version).

Some bickering has already started concerning citizenship of little Elizabeth, being that she was born in Trimaris to a Meridian mother, but Lord Tatheg has suggested we simply fight it out again next year on Elizabeth's first birthday. Where? "Hmmm, let me think, Panhandle next year?"
