| Once upon a time, in the year of 1995, Ashleigh and Connie were on their way to cheerleading tryouts at Miller High School in California. Little did they know that fate would strike as they both walked through those gym doors of their future high school. Sitting in groups of strangers, Ashleigh and Connie spotted one another and began talking, exchanging names and hellos. Before the first day of tryouts were over, Connie and Ashleigh had bonded. They signed up to try out in the same group together and throughout the week, the two incoming freshman were buddies. Viewing the results of the tryouts, both had made the sqaud! Those days were just the beginning of a wonderful friendship between the two girls. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| As Ashleigh and Connie's high school days unfolded, the friendship of our two heroines grew stronger. They wrote numerous letters back and forth, meeting in between classes to exchange them. During cheerleading practices they kept to themselves, discussing their most recent love interests and their weekend plans. By senior year, they were best friends, going off campus to lunch together, double dating to dances, working out together, and carpooling to school. College rolled around before they knew it, but they were not to despair, because they both chose the same college, UNLV, and vowed to be roommates. Though Ashleigh decided it best for her to attend school back in California after the first semester, Ashleigh and Connie remained the best of friends, visitng eachother when possible and writing frequent emails. Yet, they still wait for the day that they can live happily ever after in the same town again, in neighboring houses, sharing their adult lives together. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
