| Monopoly Game Tips |
| Tip #1: Buy all the property you can at the beginning of the game, but be smart about it, try and match your properties, duh. |
| Tip #2: If you land on an unowned property, but your opposer has one or two of the other same colored properties - buy it! You may keep them from a Monopoly or you can use it for trade later. |
| Tip #3: Always buy to make your Monopoly, no matter how poor you are. Mortage if you have to, to buy that slot. You can unmortage and buy houses after passing Go a couple times. Same with buying houses, if there are no houses placed by other opponents, mortage if you have to put houses on your property. It'll be worth it later when others start landing on your properties. |
| Tip #4: When trading, try tricking your opponent by giving them a small Monopoly for a larger Monopoly if possible. If they're a little smarter, offer tham money as well as the small Monopoly for that large Monopoly. If you can build on your larger Monopoly - you have the other beat! |
| Tip #5: Never say, "hey, who has this property - who do I owe?" Stupid! In the game rules you don't have to pay the owner if the next person already rolls. Just shut up and after the person rolls the dice, you're off scot free. It's best not to point out that you got off free though, only because that means the other players will probably begin to play closer attention and will try to get you back by doing it to you. |
| Tip #6: To go along with Tip #5 - always pay attention to the game! You could end up screwed out of money if you don't! |
