The disciples asked Jesus about the end of the age. The New testament confirms that the first century Christians were living at the end of the age. That is to say they were living at the end of the Old Covenant era which pased away in 70 A.D.
Matthew 24:3
3 Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, �Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?�
1 Corinthians 7:31
31 and those who use this world as not misusing it. For the form of this world is passing away.
1 Corinthians 10:11
11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
Hebrews 9:26
26 He then would have had to suffer often since the foundation of the world; but now, once at the end of the ages, He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself.
