As
the day of their wedding drew ever closer, Gaston tried ceaselessly to make
good his promise of returning Athena’s amethyst. Finally, opportunity gave
him the chance to pursue Blake in a thrilling chase across country to Wales,
where Blake intended to escape the country in a hot air balloon. Assisted
by Sir Harry Flashman VC, they appropriated the balloon, overpowered Blake,
confiscated the Amethyst and landed on the Lawn at Lochnaw just in time
for the ceremony. The bride looked radiant as she swept down the aisle on her fathers arm, Rev Michaels gave a very moving sermon on love conquering all. Elaine caught the bouquet... The couple honeymooned briefly in Europe before returning to London |
