Companion Bird Club wasn't founded, it just happened, because a group of friends wanted to share their love of companion parrots with each other.
Our love and concern for both companion parrots and for parrots in the wild spurred us to look beyond our own enjoyment to the possibility of our educating other parrot owners and doing our small part to help preserve the habitat of psitticines in the wild.
Using our combined bird knowledge and experience, we hope to serve as an educational source for new and prospective parrot owners through this website, our club meetings and our appearances at local pet stores and other venues.
Through fund raising efforts we hope to make a modest donation to a parrot sanctuary or conservation group at Christmas time each year.
Most of all we hope to enjoy the comraderie and exchange of knowledge with other parrot addicts in our group.
