| We Begin With The Repair Of The City Cemetery Wall Saturday, 28 October 2000. Thanks To Mrs. Susan B. Miller, President Of The Order Of Southern Gray, Lucy Ann Cox Chapter #4 For These Images. Those Not Included Within These Images That Helped With The Days Work Were Mrs. Susan B. Miller and Compatriot Forrest R. Tucker. Forrest Got Away Before We Got To Capture His Image And Mrs. Miller Seemed To Elude The Lense Of The Camera. Thanks to All For The Accomplishments Of The Day. Without Your Help We Would Not Be Able To Accomplish Our Endeavors. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This Image Was Taken On Saturday, 27 February 2001 By Jack E. Buttgen... It Shows The Progress Our S.C.V. Camp Had Made Up To That Time. I Would Like To Thank Matthew Fontaine Maury Camp Compatriots Jack E. Buttgen, Louis Buttgen Jr., Louis Buttgen III, Charles A. Embrey Sr., John T. Donnelly Jr., Jan V. Harvey, Forrest R. Tucker, Order Of Southern Gray President Lucy Ann Cox Chapter Susan B. Miller And Also To Mabel Harman For The Time And Excellent Effort Put Forth In This Project. Without All Of Your Help, We Would Not Have Gotten This Far, And I Might Add, The Wall Was Looking Very Professional In Its Appearance And Was Blending In Masterfully In All That You Accomplished. Many Thanks ! |
On This Day, Saturday, 27 February 2001, We Were Asked To Have A Conference With The President Of The City Cemetery Company, Inc. At That Time, He Inspected The Work Completed Thus Far And Decided That We Had Not Met His Expectations In The Reparing Of The Wall. He "Made The Call" And We Were Relieved Of Our Duties. The Wall Repairs Were Turned Over To An "Expert" Concern And Ultimately Completed To The Satisfaction Of The City Cemetery Company, Inc. As You Can See In This Image Of What We Had Accomplished, The Wall Was Looking Very Good. At The Time, We Had Completed About 2/3 rds Of The Repairs To The Fredericksburg City Cemetery Wall. Our Duty Done, It Was Looking Good... | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
