| After the departure of Jacquie, Keren and Sara decided to continue the group as a duo, and found themselves back in the hands of Pete Waterman. For their 6th studio album, Waterman wanted to girls to pay tribute to ABBA, and call the album ABBABANANA. Thankfully (!), the girls refused, but the ABBA-esque tone can be heard in some of the tracks. Keren and Sara both admit that this time period was not their greatest and they didn't enjoy it as much as they used to. None the less, they proved that they could continue the group as a two and produced a good album with catchy songs. Most noticably, the song "Is She Good To You?", which was slated to be single number four, is a stand out track and a favourite among the fans. PLEASE YOURSELF charted at a disappointing #46, but was also the first and only, to this day, of their albums to have a bonus disc of rarities. |
