| MOVIN' ON was the first single to be released from the 'Nanas 6th studio album, PLEASE YOURSELF. Following the departure of third 'Nana Jacquie, the girls went back to SAW for this 6th album to be produced. Pete Waterman's initial idea was to have them sing ABBA-esque tracks, and to also call teh album ABBABANANA. Thankfully the album name didn't catch on, but you can distinctively hear Abba's influence on the tracks, especially this first one. The track was later covered by pop group STEPS, who's manager was also Pete Waterman, as an album track for their second album. |

| THE VIDEO The video begins with the girls standing behind huge cardboard cutouts of dresses, similar to the cover of the single. They push the cutouts away to reveal they are wearing long, flattereing red dresses and perform the rest of the song as they descend down the staircase. WATCH OUT: For Keren hitting Sara's arm on purpose on the staircase and Sara hitting her back! |
