| Unfortunately, this was one of Bananarama's less successful singles - which did much better when it was recorded and released by British pop group Steps as their second single. It was the second single to released from PLEASE YOURSELF, and is consequently one of the fans least favourite singles - although I don't think it's half as bad as some make out. It was well known that the girls didn't like the recording of their sixth album, so their own views on the single are not known, but one can assume that they weren't too happy, which is a shame. |

| THE VIDEO During the song, we cut between the girls sitting at a table discussing their problems, and clips of them having a relationship with the same man. The iconography of a pocket watch is also significant throughout telling us that both their relationships are running out of time before they find out about each other. Dressed in suits, there is a certain closeness between the girls conveyed, giving the impression, to them at least, of who needs men. Sorry guys ;-) |
