The Baptist Faith and Message

A guide to Southern Baptist beliefs. Southern Baptists do not accept any creed or particular confession of faith, but have adopted this statement as a discription of beliefs commonly held by Baptists.

The Southern Baptist Convention

The national organization representing Southern Baptist churches, it is composed of messengers chosen by individual member churches. Its various boards, commissions, and divisions have a number of national responsibilities.

North American Mission Board

Formally the Home Mission Board, it conducts mission activity throughout North America.

International Mission Board

The IMB carries on missions throughout the world on behalf of Southern Baptist churches.

Woman's Missionary Union

The mission arm of southern Baptist women; the WMU sponsers a number of activities in local churches.

Georgia Baptist Convention

The Georgia Baptist Convention is a living partnership of churches growing in grace, strengthening one another in faith and working together in obedience to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.
