North American Tour Wraps Up

The final concerts were delivered in Chicago and St. Louis last weekend which brought an end to the North American tour. However Sweden will be the next stop for Colonia in April and hopefully they will come around again in June/July to North America as rumored. Colonia will be back in Croatia since they need to prepare the new material from the new album coming out in Spring!

New Album...in English???

   It has been rumored that Colonia's new alum will either be completely in English or will contain English songs. The English songs will likely be translation of Colonia's hits. Just like "Za Tvoje Snene Oci" was translated into "A little bit of Uh La La". Hopefully, this time around, the songs will be more related to the original lyrics, rather than it being a completely new song on its own.

Colonia Productions

     For those who have been wondering what Colonia productions is, we have the answers! Colonia productions is a record label of the members of Colonia. They release Colonia also under this label in cooperation with our other major record companies (Croatia records). They are also working on some other projects (new singers). COLONIA PUMPS UP MISSISSAUGA!

     Even though the concert started late at 10pm, Indira, Tomislav, Maja, and Kristina kept up a wonderful show until 1am! The concert started off with Ira singing Oduzimas Mi Dah and in between each song, Ira called people on stage and gave away the "Obican Dan" single and Colonia Merchandise. The only person absent during the action on stage was Boris and I was wondering were he was. After about an hour, they took a break. Hopefully Colonia will consider coming to Mississauga or Toronto again since the St.John's Lithuanian Hall was packed full of people. Stay tuned to the Multimedia Photo section when it opens because there will be photos of the concert!

DORA 2005: COLONIA WILL NOT PARTICIPATE

     There have been rumors going around the Eurovision community that Croatia will finally send the popular Colonia to the Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev, Ukraine. However, HRT, the Croatian television broadcasted, put an end to all rumors and released the final list of participants with Colonia absent from the list. Colonia have tryed their luck at Dora before in 1998 with the song "U Ritmu Ljubavi". It came in 4th.

New Album in Spring... Single in March

      So far the only news we have heard about the new album Colonia preparing is that it will be released in Spring and that there will most likely be a single in March. Also it is said that Boris is at the studio now preparing the songs. It will likely be 13 songs again, maybe a bonus DVD. The Christmas song "Kao Pahulja" will most likely be a bonus song.
