February 11, 2003 - (Tuesday)
Man-Ohhhhhhh-Man, it's cold outside. I'm getting cabin fever with all this snow and cold weather, I need a warm vacation SOOOON!!!! Oh yea, I just got back from one to FL and we FROZE!!! Ugh, Spring come sooon, phuleaaaase!!!!
I haven't been eating very well lately, since I've had my head cold. I just don't really feel like eating and since last weekend, I've really ceased snacking, so that's a good thing. I'm down 130 pounds now, so 5 pounds in 2 months since my 12 month anniversary (today is my 14 month anniversary). I cannot believe how fast this has gone and how dramatically my life has changed. All the wishes and hopes I had have certainly all come true. I am such an advocate of this surgery, it's disgusting. I never go up to people but I can't help but see others and think "candidate". I realize WLS isn't for everyone but it certainly was life altering for me, it's given me my life back and I'm thrilled. The only medication I still take is for my hypothyroid problem, everything else is gone. How can I not be thrilled? I've become a participant in society rather than a bystander. Ugh, life, I'm lovin' it!!!
My Big Fat Greek Wedding comes out on video today and I'm off to the store to buy my copy. I can't wait to see it over and over again. This movie might move Monsters Inc. from my current fav!!! *lol* Yeah, I know, I totally need to get a life. Well, I might not have much of a life, but I'm happy!!!! Can't complain about that.... Oh well, hope everyone stays safe and warm and I'll be writing again soon. Until then 'ta ta
February 14, 2003 - (Friday) Happy Valentine's Day!!!
It's cold cold cold here today. I really don't have much to today, I guess, because right now, sitting in front of keyboard, I lost my train of thought. I did have a purpose to sign on and journal today, but for the life of me, I can't think of it right now. Ugh, my mind, it's a horrible thing to lose!! *LOL* Did anyone see "Sweet Home Alabama"? I did, and it's really cute. Not a fabu movie, but cute, just the same. Reese Witherspoon is just adorable and one of my favorite movies is Legally Blonde and this is cute too. Hmmm, what was I gonna say??? Tappin' my toe, I can't remember...duh!!! I'll stall a bit to see if my thoughts return....I missed Survivor last night, but I Tivo'd it. I got Tivo for Christmas and I'm lovin' it, I'm taping up a storm. I never watched WIll and Grace at all and now I Tivo that all the time and am watching them all for the first time. It's a fabulous machine. If you have cable but never get to watch a movie because you're too lazy to set up the VCR, Tivo is the gadget for you. It's really cool. Who knows what I wanted to say, I'm sure it wasn't earth shattering...this is, of course, the most boring journal on the face of the planet....my blabbering will have to wait till I can remember what I wanted to say...Right now, I have a horrible headache, ugh. :(

February 19, 2002 - (Wednesday)
Finally, the snow has stopped. 3' later, we are digging out. This is my deck, only mid-way in the afternoon of Monday. We probably got 1/2 a foot more after this picture. See the gas grill outside the screened porch, it's a ton of snow!!!
Back to work today also. Many of my co-workers have been out also in other states and we are all finally back in the swing of work. I'm eating a little better and not exercising. Ugh, I guess I can't ask for everything. I wish I were better, but I'm not. Maybe I'll be better in the springtime. Oh well, nothing else new, I can't get over the quantity of snow this storm dropped...my only hope is that it's all over for the winter and we're sliding into a beautiful spring.
