06/24/02 - Greg has 6 songs and over 30 minutes worth of music written in preparation for his solo project. At this rate, Greg should be playing out with his band by August. Look for the new web site at www.gregjonesmusic.com to be up and running by the middle of July.
05/21/02 - On July 26th, the www.collaborationelement.com domain name will expire. After this date, this web site will no longer be available. However, Greg will be establishing a new web site for his solo music. The address will be http://www.gregjonesmusic.com. The Science of Music cd will continue to be available for purchase on Greg's new site.
04/30/02 - The progressive rock of CE lives on in a new form! Greg Jones is currently gearing up music to be recorded and performed as a solo artist. Greg hopes to release a cd by the summer of 2003. Look for a new web site to appear in the coming months. Meanwhile, Greg will be performing acoustic praise & worship sets on July 27 and August 2.

Look for a track off of the Science of Music cd to appear on a Fossil Records compilation disc soon.01/10/01 - 89.5 FM WQRP will be playing songs off of the "Science of Music" cd. 01/03/01 - The Science of Music cd is now available at the Family Christian Store in Beavercreek, Ohio, across from the Fairfield Commons Mall.
12/31/01 (New Years Eve) - We rocked hard at the Gathering Grounds' New Year's Eve show at Christian Life Center. We released the Science of Music cd, debuted Ed as our newest collaborator and debuted a new song that will appear on the second cd.
12/30/01 - Mixing/mastering completed for the Science of Music cd. The cd will be released New Years' Eve.
12/30/01 - The Collaboration Element has a new bass player, Ed Girard! No more sequenced bass parts! Ed will be debuting with the band on New Years Eve at Christian Life Center.
12/29/01 - Mixing/mastering sessions continue......
12/27/01 - Mixing sessions continue. Sensory Overload & Quintessence have now been completely mixed & mastered. Only three tracks left.

12/16/01 - Mixing/mastering of the debut cd continued today. Quintessence, Time & Manual Override are 98% mixed. Studio work will intensify later this week.

12/08/01 & 12/09/01 - Mixing and mastering continues for soon to be released "Science of Music" cd. Some rhythm guitar parts were rerecorded.

11/18/01 - Bass guitar lines are being rerecorded at Greg's personal recording studio in order to get a better sound for the upcoming cd.

10/11/01 (Thursday) - CE played at the Gathering Grounds. Thanks to all of you who came out to hear the band.
10/03/01 - We're replacing the synthesized bass lines that we originally recorded for the cd, with actual bass guitar lines. Greg has been recording these bass lines over the past few days. All of the new and improved bass tracks should be complete by next week.
09/29/01 - Work on the new cd has resumed. Progress is slow but the goal is still in sight.
