Dr. Mirabilis was a more sedate version of Captain Condor, reflecting the fact that I was getting older and could not do the sort of physical stuff that the Captain had done, like leap from balconies and go charging around.  He came out of the mid 1980s and was conceived as a satire on channeling, sort of, "What if someone channeled a bad guy?"

There were not as many performance pieces done with the Doctor, he turned out to be more of an idea than a functional character, though we did manage a couple of fun ones involving a tied damsel in the woods to the shock and puzzlement of people who saw it, which was the idea and there was the Malevolent Radio Waves performance which was the first time I combined psionics and performance art.

The Testament of Dr. Mirablis
was written as a manual for the project.  Later it was privately printed for limited distribution.  It has proven a valuable tool and sections of it have become part of my Psionic Psupervillain.

The Damsel Manual
This was the manual for the Damsel in Distress, the official victim of the Doctor.  It was designed for total novices to the role.
