* Meets are the only reliable way to get times for swimmers in competitive situations. Meets are YOUR opportunity to prove what you can do; therefore, swimmers should plan to attend as many as possible. Meet entries will be based on on entry restrictions, eligibility (no pass/ no play policy), coach's discretion and the swimmer's ability levels.
* You will receive an information sheet before each meet, info will include times and directions.
* All swimmers are required to attend the Lamar Invitational, Lamar/Bellaire Dual, and the Cardinal Classic. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
* The goal is to be the best possible team at District. Remember the only way to letter is to be in the top six at district in an individual event or be on the top three relays. Each school can only enter 4 individuals in an individual event and one relay team. Coach enters swimmers based on times and chances of scoring points. Bribes, compliments, and other schmoozing are appreciated, but will not get you in the meet---Practice and fast times will!! Be prepared to practice over the winter holiday and work hard.
