The "POWERHOUSE" when it comes to next-gen consoles, Sony's PS3 will, and already is blowing all the competition out of the water!  With the Cell prossesor making "Real-Time" calculations, and the Blue-Ray dual layered disks, with a capacity of 54+ GB (360 only has a maximum capacity of 9GB).
It has a overwhelming computing power of 2 TFLOPS (Floating Point Performance), with the competition only having 1 TFLOP, new graphical levels will become possible only on the PS3.  The "CELL" proccessor is designed by the Toshiba group, the Sony family, and IBM, with the graphics card being created by NVIDIA!  The real time calculations will have your regular NASCAR game looking like you were watching it live from the stadium.  With BlueTooth supported controllers, the PLAYSTATION 3 will have you playing with 6, yes that is 6 of your closest friends, including yourself to make up a total of 7 players at the same time.  Now the PS3 also has a Oline that is going to kick the living circut boards out of the Xbox 360, and the little console that thinks it can play with the big boys, GameCube Revolution!
Nintendo is still fighting back, although it might be from the grave.  Now they promise that there will be more power than the GameCube originally had, which will still make Nintendo out of the running unless they come up with a miracle!  In March of 2005 both IBM and ATI, announced that they will be making the CPU, and GPU of the Revolution.  Also the same company that made the RAM of the Cube, will also be providing the memory solution to the Rev!  At E3 2005, Nintendo announced that it is aiming to make a quote "small, quiet, and affortable console", and the price is so far falling under the $200.  It will play regular 12-cm discs, as well it is backwards compatible, and will play the originall Cube disks!  The controller however is a different story, it is like a remote you would use for your T.V, but it features motion sensing technology.  Although the unique thing about the Rev is that you can download the best NES games, as well as the best N64 games!  Finally, we have great news....IT CAN FINALLY GO ONLINE!!!!  Yes, out of the box the Rev will be online ready with Wi-Fi, for the DS and Rev!  But sadly the console will not support High-Definition.  Just like Sony, Nintendo is leaving Microsoft in the dust, by going with a disk slot, not a tray...Come on Bill, get with it!  It will not feature a hard drive, and it will be released sometime after the PS3 in 2006! Xbox 360, set to be released on November 22, 2005.  It is an early release compaired to the console that will blow it out of the water, Sony's PlayStation 3, but they are hoping that an early worldwide release will bring them more customers.  But sadly it won't, due to the lack of technology in the Xbox 360, it is behind by a long shot in every catagory on the SPEC sheet, and it is falling further behind by the day.  But for those die hard Xbox fans, we wish you luck trying to compair your console to the "POWERHOUSE"!
Xbox 360 is now out, and was a major disapointent to many.  Microsoft did not produce enough units to ship out, which had customers out in the cold waiting for their copies (has never happened to SONY)!  Just hours after its release, HUGE problems already were surfacing.  Overheating of the CPU, major disc-scratching, and freezing.  Which also shows that Micrsoft does NOT belong in the gaming industry!
