1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Reminder-Everyone needs to have 15 points by the end of the semester 3. We are holding a food drive starting Monday, March 19. It is for the Hunger Defense Fund and will last until March 30. You will be awarded 1 point for every 2 items and there will be a drop off barrel in S111. We will make posters to advertise. 4. Wish Granted Project: We can donate money and wrap and deliver wishes for children undergoing cancer treatment through the Michael Hofflin Foundation. The deadline is April 5 and delivery is April 14. We plan to raise money to grant a wish (make checks payable to Gamma Beta Phi). 5. We need a president, vice president, secretary, web master, and treasurer. There will be an election coming up. 6. Motion to accept the officers of this organization. 7. Motion granted. 8. Motion to accept by-laws and point system. 9. Motion granted. 10. We need people to pay dues. 11. Meeting is adjourned.

1. Call Meeting to Order 2. The induction ceremony for new members is Thursday, December 7 at 4:30pm in the library (R-206) 3. $15 chapter dues are due! Give them to Mike Stein or put the money in a sealed envelope with your name and put it in the Gamma Beta Phi Mailbox at the switchboard. 4. Informational meetings for new members are: Tuesday, November 14 from 10am until 11am in S-129 or Tuesday, November 14 from 5pm to 6pm in the Library (R-206) 5. Toy Drive might be a group project 6. 1. Call Meeting to Order 2. Our next meetings will be Wednesday 11/8 and Tuesday 12/5 at 1:35pm 3. Gamma Beta Phi has a mailbox! 4. $15 local dues need to be given to Mike Stein by October 31, 2006. Put the dues in a sealed envelope and put it in the Gamma Beta Phi mailbox at the switchboard. You will receive one point if you turn it in on time. 5. Measure M and Football game sign ups are in S111 if you would like to get some additional volunteer points. 6. Our next group project will be the Toy Drive in December 7. Cougar Den Homecoming BBQ-For more information, click here 8. Halloween Haunted Jailhouse-maybe group event 9. We need volunteers to write to computer companies to see if we can get a laptop computer for Gamma Beta Phi. Points will be given! If you are interested, contact on of the officers. 10. 1. Call the Meeting to Order 2. Roll Call 3. Kristen Morin is our new Vice President 4. Our next meetings will be 10/10, 11/7, and 12/5 at 1:30 pm. 5. Discussion of Group Service Projects -Heart Walk on September 30 -River Rally on September 30 -Each hour you participate in these group service projects, you will receive one point to count towards the point system. 6.We have a special desk and filing cabinet for Gamma Beta Phi located in S-111. If you need anything because you missed a meeting, there will be papers located there. There are also a list of extra volunteer activities in a red binder 7. Make a Difference Day is October 28 8. Measure M 9. We might do the Haunted Jail House as a group service project-we will know more later 10. There will be a toy drive in December which we will count as our group service project 11. $15 Local Dues need to be turned in by October 31st. You will receive one point if you turn it in on time. Make sure to bring it at the next meeting, October 10 at 1:30 pm 12. If anyone would like to help out at the Alumni and Friends Homecoming BBQ, please call Michelle at 661-362-3435 by October 5, 2006. The BBQ is Saturday, October 14 from 4:30pm - 6:30pm at the Cougar Den at Cougar Stadium. There will be many different opportunities for you to help volunteer. It should be a fun event. 13. 1. Discussion of Group Service Projects for next fall -River Rally -Heart Walk -Trail "Clean Up" 2. Consideration of New Business -Anyone graduating this semester can buy stoles for $15 and cords for $10 from the national Gamma Beta Phi website. If you don't want to have them anymore after graduation, you can always donate it back to us for 1 point. -There is going to be an End of the Semester Pool Party! June 10th at 4:00 pm at Shannon's house. Dinner will be served. Bring any additional snacks such as cupcakes or chips if you can. 3. Roll Call 4.
