Here’s a very functional steer
which should make a great project for the show ring and/or the feedlot. His
mother is ½ Shorthorn and ½ Hereford. She traces back to my 1998 Reserve Grand
Champion Shorthorn Female at the New York State Fair, and is out of our senior
herd sire, GERBER LINESMAN 011L.
This solid black calf is sired by
one of the most popular GENEX sires of all time – BUSHWACKER 41-93. (Now
deceased). BUSHWACKER offspring appear to be very consistent and predictable
with respect to feed efficiency, muscle shape, and marbling ability. Here is a
nice, docile black calf who is very easy to work with.
