FEATURES
OF OUR TANK MOULDING SYSTEM
The Coastline Advantage
Our tanks are all moulded in one piece. Our movable joint in the mould is at the top of the tank mould. This unique feature ensures that any inherent weakness and/or air bubbles that may occur will only appear at the least stressed area of the tank ensuring you have a stronger tank all round.
Our tanks are fully rotationally moulded. Our unique rotocam gives us the best results in the  distribution of plastic within the mould. This gives our tanks a distinct advantage of a strong and consistant thickness in the appropiate areas.
Evidence of the advantages of the dome top, high over flow and straight walls on our unique tanks
Beware of other processes
Other features include;
*Dome Roof is self supporting eliminating the need for supports
*Coastline Plastics tanks also have a high moulded in 90mm overflow.
*Our tanks have  a raised area around manhole this eliminates surface dust/dirty water entering the tank.
*Our staright wall design allows us to place your outlets/taps at any point you desire on the wall of the tank.
Some of our competitors have movable joints in their moulds down both sides, across the bottom and across the top of their moulds. This allows any weaknesses which may occur to appear at these vulnerable spots  especially when full. The stresses from the water pressure could cause potential problems at these joints
Some of our competitors use a rock and roll machine that gives uneven thickness in the walls. And some use an open flame in the heating process which can give a very inconsistant thickness  and very occassionally even burn or under cook parts of the tank.
Tank as it is coming out of the mould all in one piece.
Our aim is to supply a quality tank at a reasonable price
