Action
Brainstorms (Post-Walk Out)
- Networking
with other college campuses to build a coalition was discussed at length.
Lots of people in the group have good contacts at other Colorado campuses.
The action item for the group for this week was to network and contact
people they know at other campuses and get the word about any similar
groups. From there we will determine how to build a coalition with these
folks and what to do now that we've coalated.
- Tim suggested
a visible and symbolic peace protest, such as a laydown protest or using
the little flags on the quad to symbolize the dead. He's going to contact
Hillel and find out more information and present it to the group to
get something started.
- Rochelle
suggested doing something to help Afghan women. She's going to do some
research and get back to the group.
