(not helping, not enough food, destruction of food, poor drop areas)

causes starvation (and further destruction of an already destroyed country!)

American protests being watched (or stopped in some cases) in foreign
countries
- Warnings
to other nations (Indonesia, Pakistan) re: poetntial bombings in those
countries (not idle threats?)
What we're
doing

tabling" for national day of action (10-2pm, outside UMC) ~visual

(hope to gain 2,500 signatures)

to deliver petition to Chancellor Byyny

preparations
- Can we
logistically gain enough signatures in a week?
- is two
weeks too long to wait (will we lose momentum and energy?), Give us
time to research? Will the petition be applicable in two weeks?
- Consensus
vote to keep walk out on October 18 (giving us one week to gain signatures)
