ABSENTEEN BALLOT
Think it's too hard to vote when you're at school?  Taught that the "system" is against you?  Well surprise, surprise, it's much easier to vote than you thought!  All you need to do is contact your city or township clerks office and request an absenteen ballot.  Contrary to what your teachers may have taught you, absenteen ballots are very successfull, as long as you give your city or townships clerks office enough time to process your request and send you your ballot (this means do not contact them at the last minute!).
Under Michigan Law you are able to vote with an absenteen ballot if you know that you will not be in your city or township that day of the election.  You can apply for an absenteen ballot as early as the primary election for the general election if you are aware that you will not be in your city or townhship.
Now that you see how easy it is to vote Absenteen, you might be wondering how do I get an application for an Absenteen Ballot?  All you have to do is contact your city or township clerck and as that an Absenteen Ballot aplication be sent to you.

REMEMBER election time is a very hectic and busy time for your clercks office, so be sure to do the above as soon as possible.
Lt. Governor Dick Posthumus is flanked with U.S. congressional Candidate and presently Secretary of State Candice Miller on his left, and a state senator and the attorney general on his right.  Posthumus showed the state his great ability to lead the state when he was Acting-Governor of Michigan (while Gov. Engler was out of the country).  Here Acting-Governor Posthumus signed one of bills cracking down on the terrorist hoaxes and was briefed by state and national law forces on states response to the September 11th attack and our precautionary measures.
