Puppy Raiser Opportunities and General Information
Early experiences with much love and nurturing, an enriched environment, and one-on-one contact with a human creates the perfect dog to go on to further training in helping people with special needs.

The following is a list of what a puppy handler should do with their puppy:

*  lots of love, attention, and hugs
*  attend basic obedience classes
*  housetraining
*  weekly outings to new places (to include quiet and noisy)
*  riding in cars
*  monthly meetings with head trainer (central location; max group of five)
*  special games designed by head trainer

Ideal Puppy Raisers:

*  retirees
*  self-employed
*  employed, if allowed by employer
*  home schooled children over age 16
*  college students
*  work at home
