Our Dogs Past and Present |

|
We do not breed dogs to obtain the characteristics that we look for in a potential service dog in training. The majority of the dogs that are in our program come from high kill shelters, local rescue groups, owner surrender/donation, and a few from private breeders.
The breeds that we most commonly use range from pure breeds like Labrador Retrievers, English Pointers, and Catahoula Curs. Though the large majority of our dogs are mixed breeds that include but are not limited to Labrador, Collie, Spaniel, Catahoula, Pointer, and Poodle mixes.
We also periodically have teams in our Owner Train program. These are individuals that are training their own service dogs under the guidance of Working Paws Assistance Dogs for many different reasons. |

Cinder is a 4 month old Catahoula Cur with great potential for being a service dog. He is doing well with his public outings and has been to the library where he waited patiently. He is also very good with children of all ages.
Cinder is currently in need of a Puppy Raiser family and a Sponsor. |

This is Ringo. He is a brother to Cinder and Sampson. He is a 4 month old Catahoula Cur. He has a very fun personallity, when something is going on he is all ears and wants to check it out.

Sampson is a 4 month old Catahoula Cur. His brothers are Cinder and Ringo. He is a typical playful puppy who loves water and getting covered in mud. If nothing else, he just wants to be with people and in the middle of everything.
Sampson is currently in need of a Puppy Raiser family and a Sponsor. |
