Las Cruces, New Mexico

At High Mesa Fjords, we have Norwegian Fjords geldings, Hjerte Barn and Starfire Chiron. Nigel, an Arab/Fjord cross is their friend and companion. Arthur, a Minature Schnauzer is like the energizer bunny, he just keeps going. Sadly, we just lost our Giant Schnuzuer, Brie,  in February 2009. Zeus, a rescue Giant arrived in March.  We love iiving in the Chihuahuan desert at 4,700 feet near the Organ Mountains just east of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

THE OTHER CRITTERS
ARTHUR
is a 16  year old Miniature Schnauzer. He has been transplanted from Nebraska and appears to like New Mexico well enough. His hobbies are eating tarantula's and horn toads and using forbidden facilities in the housel
ZEUS (b. 2008) is a little over one year old and arrived from his foster home in Oklahoma  in March 2009. He is smart and affectionate and adapting t his new home.
BRIE(?/02 to 2/9/09) She arrived as a rescue dog in July 2006 as a 4-year old. I got her from  HT-Z Giant Schnauzer rescue. In May 2008, Brie  had a fibrosarcoma removed. She survived until February 2009.
ZACK (4/20/96 to 7/2/07
). I was  his fourth owner and shared my house with him for six years.  He had a wonderful personality and was a real character and just a trifle neurotic! He was a friend, companion and  a great guard dog. He was a happy camper in his new forever home. His hobbies were  an obsession with his  X-treme Kong, eating unsuitable things and barking too much!
