| Tank's registered name is "Hjerte Barn". This is Norweigian for "Heart Child" or "Apple of One's Eye". Seems just too apt doesn't it? | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| I first saw a Norwegian Fjord Horse at a carriage driving show in Minnesota. I did not know what it was,but I asked and decided then and there that someday I would have one. After returning home, I was at the Nebraska State Fair and I saw a business card advertising Fjords just 20 miles from Omaha. I visited the farm but at the time just could not afford one. Five years later I visited the farm again. Tank was a two-year and on my birthday he came home with me. That was thirteen years ago. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Tank has a new careeer. His newest friend, 12-year old Sylina, is teaching him to jump! They did well at their first show! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This is what Tank prefers to do! Tank and his pal, Nigel (an Arab/Fjord cross) live it up at High Mesa Fjords. Photo by Steve McIlree |
