The current Membership of the Unveiled Keepers has recently suffered sever losses due to what we call, the Bleakness. The Bleakness is when a guest of the Castle returns to their room, never to be seen again. Investigations into ANY disappearance of Keepers is a high priority until we can verify that the Bleakness did indeed take our esteemed colleagues.

Some of our esteemed coleus have also received the status of Courtier of the Court. At this time, since we are not a Royal Guild, ties to the Unveiled must be severed once Rank of Courtier (or higher) is achieved. To see past members of our Society, please review this document.

To find an Unveiled Keeper, all that one needs to do is look for our Identification. It is a Silver Badge with a Watchful Eye engraved upon it. You may also submit information through a special application.

General Information on Membership
(Hereafter referred to as Unveiled)

Membership is open to all that display an inquisitive mind, or unique talent for research. Honor and Loyalty towards Her Majesty is also required.

The emblem for Members of the Unveiled (Hereafter referred to as Members) is a silver badge with a watchful eye engraved on it. Members may choose to wear the badge openly or not.

Major decisions pertaining to the operations of the Unveiled, shall be made by the Leader of the Unveiled (Hereafter referred to as Leader).

Membership guidelines for allowing others to join the Unveiled:

~ A talent for finding out information hidden from others.
~ A mind open to a variety of ideas.
~ A willingness to serve and protect Her Majesty.
~ A willingness to follow orders.

New members will be discussed with the Leader of the Unveiled by the current members who thinks them to be a suitable candidate. Once the Leader approves them, they will be inducted when it is convenient for the Leader.

Members should be chosen based upon the above qualifications. A diverse group of Members is desirable, as it gives wide-ranging ideas and experience. Members need not be well liked to be effective and contributing members of the Unveiled.

Discipline

~ The Leader shall deal with all issues of conduct of Members. The Leader can dismiss a member without a discussion of the Member at a meeting, or by urgent missive to Members, unless the conduct issue is so grave the Leader feels the integrity of the Unveiled would be jeopardized by the Member continuing association with the Unveiled.

~ Once a Member is dismissed from the Unveiled, they have three days to return the badge and any other items they have that are the property of the Unveiled. After this time, they will be reported to the Law for theft. This would include any manuals or books that have the watchful eye symbol engraved upon the item.

~ Members are required to give their Loyalty and to maintain Integrity to the Cause of the Unveiled, which is to seek answers to the questions pertaining to the mysteries they investigate. Trust between members is not necessary, but Loyalty and Integrity to the cause itself is mandatory.

~ ... is responsible for determining meeting times.
~ ... may chose at any time to incorporate new positions within the Unveiled to ensure that the requirements of Leadership are met and administrative duties are maintained.
~ ... may at any time, dismiss individuals assigned to any position if the Leader feels the integrity of the Unveiled would be jeopardized by the Member in question.

Element Leader term

The Element Leader shall serve an indefinite term until they desire to leave or circumstances force them to resign. It is the responsibility of the Element Leader to appoint their successor from the ranks of the Members of that Element.
