RSL 2005: Good start for the Champs!

Turf City – The new season of the Recreational Soccer League league kicked off on Sunday and defending champions, Club M, made a good start to its title defence with a 2-0 win over X-Commandos FC The dodos had a very little rest following their controversial 2-2 draw against Sims United the day before in the Clementi League.

A number of players were still unavailable due to injuries and the dodos had to put together a makeshift side for their first RSL game of the season. The dodos started brilliantly with Jean-Marc going close to open the score in the first 5 minutes. A pass from Thierry in the penalty area presented him with a clear shot on goal but he couldn't hit the target.
