The Hot & humid climate could be subdued by the occasional dip in the pleasant Rivers and Tanks (The local villager who accompanies you as the Guide will watch out for the occasional Crocodile...). We will camp by a river on the first Day, the second night will be in a Log hut. |

Visit the ruins of an
ancient Kingdom "Ruhuna" (5th Century B.C.), almost all of which is now hidden
in the Jungles of the Southern Sri Lanka. Though dating from the same period as
the more excavated Ancient City of Anuradhapura in the nothern part of the
Island, Ruhuna Kingdom is still unexplored and thereby almost unvisited, except
by the more adventurous visitor. The best war to explore the region is on foot.
Our 3-day Trek will take you at times through adventurous landscapes and other
times through small villages, where the time appears to have stood still...
