Wednesday 5 September 2007, in the
morning around seven o'clock, the SMS tone of my cell phone rang. It
was from my friend Kiki, informing me about the death of our friend
Diana's father, Mr. Syamsudin Paat. The deceased lived at Tangkuban
Perahu Street, in South Jakarta.
The street's name Tangkuban Perahu came
from the name of a mountain in Bandung, West Java, approximately 180
kilometers away from Jakarta. It is a mountain with unique shape,
like a capsized huge boat sprawling on a vast land, moss-covered by
the trees. The name Tangkuban Perahu translates roughly to
"upturning of (a) boat" or "upturned boat" in Sundanese, the local
native ethnic.
So the news of the death of my friend Diana's father becomes like a reminder for me to avoid recurrence of
the capsized
of destiny like what happened to Lady Diana. From 1995 to 1997 I
wrote to and made some paintings of Lady Diana because I thought
Lady Di's name sounded like "die", concomitant with my consent
to meet the end of my life. Yet in 1997 it was Lady Diana who died in
a car accident in Paris, as if there had been a capsized of destiny,
a switch of death destiny with me.
Such a reminder is important especially
since the news of my friend Diana's father died appeared after
my previous letter of "Paris
"8" Endeavour", whereas after I uploaded that letter Paris Hilton
appeared in some events wearing Lady Diana's kind of hairstyle.
The reminder was strengthen with the
news of Anita Roddick died after I obtained the photo of Tangkuban
Perahu on the internet. Anita Roddick's first name was similar to my
former neighbor Anita who has a close relationship with me in 1982.
As if to remind me not to switch my death destiny with any of the
women who has had or still has a close relationship with me,
including Paris Hilton.

(Reuters) - Prime Minister Gordon
Brown led tributes to Body Shop founder Anita Roddick on
Tuesday, describing her as a "true pioneer" who inspired
millions to take an ethical approach to business. Roddick
suffered a brain haemorrhage and died in hospital in
Chichester, West Sussex, on Monday with her family at her
bedside. She was 64.
"As one of this country's most
successful businesswomen, she was an inspiration to women
throughout the country striving to set up and grow their own
companies," Brown said. "She campaigned for green issues for
many years before it became fashionable to do so and inspired
millions to the cause by bringing sustainable products to a
mass market."
The Body Shop's Chairman Adrian
Bellamy said Roddick had a love of life that touched all those
who met her.
"It is no exaggeration to say that
she changed the world of business with her campaigns for
social and environmental responsibility," he said.
Friends of the Earth Director Tony
Juniper described her as a leading light of the green
movement. Newspaper headlines paid tribute to "the green
queen". Roddick founded The Body Shop in Brighton in 1976,
selling toiletries made from natural ingredients, and her
brand became a byword for sustainable business. |

She saw her business mushroom into
an empire of more than 2,000 stores in 51 different markets.
She sold her stake in The Body Shop to France's L'Oreal last
year. L'Oreal's Chief Executive Officer Jean-Paul Agon
described her an "inspiration to us all and a tremendous force
for good".
A multi-millionaire, Roddick
campaigned against human rights abuses and was an
environmental activist.
The mission statement of The Body
Shop was: "To dedicate our business to the pursuit of social
and environmental change." Roddick said it was her mother's
frugality during World War Two that inspired her to campaign
for environmental issues and question retail conventions.
"We re-used everything, we
refilled everything and we recycled all we could. The
foundation of The Body Shop's environmental activism was born
out of ideas like these," she wrote on her Web site.
Roddick revealed earlier this year
that she was suffering from liver damage after contracting the
Hepatitis C virus more than 35 years ago and campaigned for
support for sufferers of the potentially deadly disease.

Just a few hours after I found a good photo of
Tangkuban Perahu in the internet shop for the above letter, came the news
in the evening at Metro TV about the death of Anita Roddick, founder of
The Body Shop cosmetics chain. I admired her for successfully
developed the Body Shop cosmetics chain that could be found anywhere in
the world including in some famous mal in Jakarta.
"I started the Body Shop simply to create a
livelihood for myself and my two daughters while my husband, Gordon, was
trekking across the Americas," she wrote. "I had no training or experience
..."
Her name had the initial of A.R., that reminds
me with my old friend Ar whom I mentioned in my previous letter of "Arizona
Sand Storm Reminder For Me About Twisting Fact Accusation of Ary". My
old friend Ar is also the brother of Anita, my former neighbor who has a
close relationship with me in 1982 like I mentioned in the above letter.
So the death of Anita Roddick becomes like a
reminder for me not to do any measures that could be interpreted as my
wish to switch my death destiny with others.

to remind me not to treat her like what happened to Lady Diana. Whereas
