Animal Uses

A use for animal cloning would be for more and better quality food and also to save money. Cloning would produce better quality food because cloning a superior animal would result in clones that are also geneticaly superior. Breeding cows today is very expensive today because not all of the cows will be able to give birth to good cows resulting in a waste of money for the pregnant cow. A clone would have the same genes so a clone would die at relatively the same time as the parent. This could be effecient as they clone an older sheep and then have it die and the sheep which would hopefully have reached full size and die at the same time, meaning that he had two full grown cows die and he didn't have to spend the full amount of money for food on them. This could save farmers money!

Cloning animals may lead us to a world where we don't even need to worry about running out of meat because all we have to do is clone a cow. We should be careful of this because cloning may lead to a non-diversified species and if terrible disease affects one cow, than all of its clones will contract the diesese and a great many cows would die. Also, if a cow with a genetic defect that rtesults in a disorder and reduced quality of meat, than all of its clones will have the exact same problem because all of its clones would have the exact same genetic information. This will probably happen since mankind has never been to smart. We should think of this, but the answer of evryone will probably be "we're man kind, nothing can hurt us". How very wrong they are....................
