| The Clinton County Struttin' Gobblers, a local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) donated a Plotmaster and trailer to the Clinton County SWCD. The Plot master can disc, plow and furrow, deposit seed of your choice, pack the soil, cover the seed and smooth the soil over the seed all at the same time. The Plotmaster is 4-foot wide and has a one-point or a three-point hitch and can be pulled with a 4-wheeler, tractor, or truck. This machine is available to anyone in the County wanting to put in small food plots for wildlife. Anyone interested should contact Don Perez at 594-2273. There is a $5 usage fee with a 2 day limit. The Clinton County Struttin' Gobblers also recently donated a 6' Great Plains No-Till Drill to the Clinton County SWCD. To rent this please call the office at 526-7919 x 3. Rental fee is $3 per acre. |
