Playoff Update:

Playoff scenarios:

Plugged Nickle: Clinched regular season division championship & #1 playoff seed.

Union Station: Clinched playoff spot, will be #2 seed w/ win over metz or a Team X loss.  Union Station loss to Metz and a Team X win and Club 20 loss and Union becomes #3 seed.  USVC loss and both Team X and Club 20 win: Union Station #4 seed.

Club 20: Clinched playoff spot and gets #3 seed with win over Energy.  Loss to Energy and Club 20 gets the #4 seed. (No scenario puts Club 20 in #2 seed.)

Team X: Clinched playoff spot and at least a #4 seed.   Can jump into #2 spot with a win and Union Station loss.

Legacy: Controls own destiny: Can clinch a playoff spot with a win or tie.  A loss by Legacy would require some help: Either a loss by Energy or Blondies is best. If Slammers defeats N.O.G. and Energy and Blondies each win, there will be a tie for the last playoff spot between Legacy and Slammers.  These teams tied during the season, so the tiebreaker will be a coin flip.

Eagle: Controls own destiny: Can clinch a playoff spot and #5 seed with a win over Legacy.  A loss or tie would require a loss from Energy, Blondies, or None Other Goldsmiths.

Energy: Controls own destiny: #6 seed w/ victory over Club 20. Still makes playoffs with a loss Blondies loss to Plugged Nickle.

Blondies: Needs to defeat undefeated Plugged Nickle.   Out with loss.

None Other Goldsmiths: Makes playoffs with a win over Slammers/Club 202.  Out with loss.

Slammers/Club 202:  Needs to first defeat N.O.G. for an opportunity to get in the playoffs.  Out with a loss.  After defeating N.O.G., all Slammers needs is a Plugged Nickle victory over Blondies to get in.

Buggaboo:  Hmm.  A win over Team X and losses by Eagle, Energy, Blondies, and None Other Goldsmiths gives 4 teams a 4-7 record and thus a 4-way tie for the last two playoff spots.  Tiebreaker rules would apply -- scores from Sunday's games will be necessary to determine the final standings.  It is unlikely that Buggaboo will make the playoffs under any scenario (largely in part due to 2 forfeits.  These forfeits give Buggaboo a -14 beginning spot for total runs scored differential, the second tiebreaker.)
