Challenge One -
100km Cycle over 2 days. Completed in August over 2 days from Borris to Rosslare.  Stayed in the youth hostel in Rosslare...... very enjoyable had 12 scouts take part in the adventure that took us approx 6 hrs..we stopped off in my Grand mothers where we had lunch thanks to my Mother and Angela.
Challenge Two
15km hike over open county.
I completed this challenge on a very wet, windy and cold March Sunday (19th). There was 9 of us in total
David, Sinead, Grainne (Granny), Amy (my big sister), Niall (Nigel), Nigel Beag (Eoin), Emer (Screamer), Mary Ellen (So good they named her twice) and myself Little Jennifer.  We started off in Walshstown and headed for the Coll below Caher Rues Den along a long wet and stoney track.  Once we accended Caher rues den we enjoyed the fantastic views of the Barrow Valley and Wexford.

The climb to the top of Blackstairs was challenging enough and to our enjoyment we had a little snow ball fight on top of the mountain.  We came down the other side towards Sculloge Gap and from their headed up Knockroe Hill (legs were very tired at this stage)  down the other side of Knockroe and followed the Mountain river back to the church car park in Rathanna for 5:30pm.  It was a long and challenging walk and i think everyone enjoyed it.... the walk was a total of 17.5km from start to Finish...

Memories:  -
Grainne strangely falling down the mountain (getting a scracth on her face) Silly Girl
Nigel Mor - Why do you always have to be in front
Flying the kite - poor amy nearly became air borne

Challenge Three - Build a Bivi 6ft from the ground - i hope to do this when Grainne plans here survival.
In July this year we went on an overnight survival on Mt Leinster near Borris, the activity was brillant.  My part of the challenge was to build a Bivi 6ft off the group and sleep init.  The Bivi was very difficult to build due to the height so we decided to build the base first this was done by lashing spars lower down on the trees so as to allow us do lashings at high level once we had the base spars down we were able to place the main frame of the base.... to make the base comfertable we put filled the ground sheet up with ferns (lots of them) and folded up over... it was very comfortable (for a bivi).  The sides of the bivi and the roof was made for 2 ground sheets..... I enjoyed the night but apart from the ghost stories and the fox during the night
Challenge Four
Build a bird house and observe the birds that use it....... Bird house is built at the moment and is very busy at the momnet.
Challenge Five
Learn how to Rock climb and Absail
Challenge Six
