Phoenix 2006
The Hardy Badger patrol took part in this years phx challenge in Tollymore Co. Down, they di our county and troop very proud on the weekend finishing a record high of joint 19th out of 51 patrols.... well done see more here 25th Aug 06
Cheif Scout Award
Congrats to Eadaoin Dalton on completing her Cheif Scouts award.. she got her offical letter from The Cheif Scout Martin Burbridge last week. After a long year of tough challenges its all over. She will hopefully receive the reward in the next few weeks. Eadaoin now joins 21 other people in Borris that completed their challenges in the last 22 years in Borris.... welcome to the gang.
Junior All Ireland Champions
Congrats to both Jennifer Skelton and Grainne Nolan who were part of the borris Vocational School who won the Junior all ireland B camoige final on the 25th of March in The Ragge in Co. Tipp by defeating Gort.
New Scouts for 2006 Season
We took up 8 New Scouts this year which is very encouraging, due to changes in age catagories in scouts our age for scouts in now 11years old to 16 years of age with scouts for competitions under the age of 15 yrs old.
