Bound by the Past; Torn from Glory
A Meeting:
The scene fades in, in a New York cafe. We walk from the front part of the restaurant to the back. From there we spot the two objects sitting at a table and eating, that can't help but raise our curiosity. The first image is that of the infamous "DH" patch on the right breast of a black jacket, which as we know, usually symbolizes a member of The Dynasty Hitmen. The second image we spot as we pan the camera around so that we can spot the man sitting across for the Hitmen member. It is the face, figure, and image of "the Baron" as he's become known as in various Nicky Mills promos over the last month or two. We position the camera now in the center of the table and listen into the ongoing conversation.
Baron: I'm concerned for Jonny. I can't help help but be concerned. I know you guys were assigned to Fly, I know Fly's career has basically been manipulated by whomever the person who's controlling him is, but Fly was the most passionate wrestler I ever seen. I don't even think he remembered the deal he made with that man. He thought it was him winning the titles..Jonny Fly..from rags to riches..by himself. It was disappointing to me, being, well, being him with him from the start. But imagine..imagine how it must feel for him? He's lost everything. He can't come back to wrestling, he'll be laughed at, shunned, forgotten, and I can't watch him go through that. Not Fly.
DH: So, what? We, as a group, have made the decision to get him out of there.
Baron: Out of where? Do we even know?
DH: It's drugs. It's New York. The trail only leads to one man. Robert Burke. Burke has been gaining in the area for years now, and as of the last two years has basically put an umbrella over much of the southern part of the city. Brutal guy, no joke. I'd bet money this is the man Fly's trapped under.
Baron: I received the same word. You plan to go in and get him?
DH: Not just me, the entire legion of the Dynasty Hitmen. We owe him, all of us, or we'd of been discovered for what we are, and surely, would not be walking the free earth today. Therefore, we owe him our lives, and that's surely what some of us will be giving going into the nearly impenetrable circle that surrounds Burke. The very center of which holds dear Jonny.
Baron: I still fear about bringing Fly back to the wrestling scene.
DH: He just needs support. We'll be there for him, and that'll scare everyone enough to shut their fuckin' mouths. I mean, look at what was real. He has the experience, he knows how to do all the moves, his finisher will still be great. His reign as owner, which was real, took TNT from middle of the road to superstardom. It was under Fly that TNT finally passed UWA. However, as we know, Vetalo found power, used it to prop himself and his friends up, and the company slipped back. Bring back Fly, the company will rise again..
Baron: Alright, go get him..
With that, the meeting ends, and the scene cuts away from the restaurant.
Televised Fly:
The scene fades into a blank screen. The only thing seen is the forgotten image, the former "Face of TNT Wrestling." Jonny Fly talks into the screen.
-One last time, folks. One last time I'm going to get in front of a TNT camera, cut some people to shreds, and reminisce about the old times.
-I'll start with my favorite whipping boys. The self proclaimed High Rollers. Men who think renting nice cars and clothes for shows and playing each other up in front of the cameras somehow makes them "big shots." Both of whom FINALLY left the company this past week.
-What's the matter, boys? Did you finally realize that despite your best intentions, despite trying to talk like me, act like me, all that mess, you never actually could WIN like me? That you were never going to be out of my shadow? That you would never make the Hall of Fame? Good thinking. You were probably right.
-Then let me move toward the new World Champion, Nicky Mills. You know, a lot of people still have the same views of Mills as they've had for over a year. If you view him the same as then, you haven't been paying attention. Mills has improved more and more in that ring every week, and is truly deserving of the post he sits on at this moment. The best wrestler in the World. If you don't believe that he is elite, then you need to open up your fuckin' eyes.
-And, once again, TNT Ownership has changed hands. Andrea Williams, who fittingly brought her brother, Christian, back as an announcer. I have some, what's the word, relation?, to the Williams clan, but I know nothing of this Andrea broad. But I'm not too worried, you can't get much worse than Vetalo, can ya? If she is, she'll be run out I'm sure. It's easier to overpower some woman than Vetalo and his posse of misfits, which isn't saying much.
-I must also say, it's good to see Eric and Nic back on the same roster, at the same time. If we had them around late last year, we'd probably have rivaled anyone for the best roster ever assembled. They're amazing wrestlers, amazing people, and barring some freak accident of nature, will become the hottest feud this company has seen since, well, ever. I wish them both luck, however, since I'm bias, I hope Eric kicks the shit of that God imposter.
-I'm going to be honest with you guys. I don't know what the future holds for me. I don't know what tomorrow brings, which is a luxury that most have, and don't really realize until it's gone. Until your filled with uncertainty, until your approaching death looms over you. I'm lost in this world. I'm treated like a dog. I push drugs for a man that I would shoot dead in cold blood without a second of thought. I'm the patsy, If something goes bad, I don't survive. That's my life.
-Like I said. This will be the last time you see me on TNT Television. I've asked, I've prayed, for a miracle. But let's be honest, I was never supposed to get this far. I should of died when I was 7. I wish TNT the best of luck..and hope that I'm in it's prayers.
