On Thanksgiving, General Stockwells orders the A-Team to reunite a wanted criminal, A.J. Bancroft, with his daughter Ellen within 24 hours. In return, Bancroft will provide evidence that could bring down half the crooked politicians in Washington. Bancroft, who is terminally ill, has not seen his daughter in twenty years. However, Ellen knows all about him from the papers. But the old man has another reason to hire the A-Team specifically: he tells Murdock that Templeton Peck was born Richard Bancroft, his son. - IMDB

Murdock: It's just that I find this all so ironic. I mean, there's the colonel in there slaving over a, a hot stove to fix me a big juicy, uh, Thanksgiving dinner. And I mean, ever since I've been tending turkeys, I mean, uh, well, that's just the biggest mistake I've ever made. Frankie: Well, like they say, never get too friendly with a bird you're gonna eat.
Murdock: I just can't. I mean, now that I work around turkeys all day long, I mean. I'm sorry. Face: Murdock got a little closer to the main course than he wanted to. Hannibal: Oh, never get too friendly with a bird you're gonna eat, Murdock. Frankie: Well said.
Stockwell: Don't insult me, Colonel. Blackmail is not my style. Frankie: It isn't? Then how'd I get here?

In Battlestar Gallactica, Dirk Benedict (Face) played a character named Starbuck. He must have been type cast, because Face and Starbuck are both very similar characters. Right down to the fact that they're both orphans. In fact, there's an episode of BSG just like this episode of A-Team. A guy arrives that may or may not be Starbuck's father. He gets into a big fight with his friend Appollo. (Face gets in the fight with Murdock) And at the end you find out that he is infact his father, but he asks the nurse not to tell Starbuck. (AJ asks Murdock not to tell Face) Only Starbuck never knows the truth, whereas Face finds out, only after his father's death.
