Website Update:
New Site Now Online

After CELEBRATING 8 YEARS ONLINE at GeoCities, Yahoo! has decided to close the GeoCities network later this year, which is a shame because its been a very reliable free service over the years, which now obviously presents me with a problem do I now look for another free host most of which have too little space, to much advertisiing or are

are just unreliable services that disappear after a couple of years which is why I choose GeoCities in the first place because of its good reputation. So I think its about time that I now move the site to its own domain. In the mean time I have set up a temporary host for the site HERE so that you can keep track of whats happening with the site, just in case this should close before I have time to find a new permanent host, I'll also post news about the sites progress on my Flickr Account, just click on my profile for details.

Meanwhile, you will have noticed that I now have the new version of the site online, fans & surfers who used the original version of my site (started in Oct 2001) will be aware that the idea behind my site was as A-Team based graphics and multimedia downloads resource which focused mainly on computer/website based art such as AIM Buddy Icons, Boot Themes, Wallpapers, web backgrounds, cellphone media and later some java scripts.

With this version of the site, now with a greater knowledge of web programming I've completly re-written the site which now sports alot more pages of information and many new items with much more depth. Due to the limitations of a free website hosting and the fact that sites pages have become bigger means that after a longer hard decision much of the original content has been removed, web site graphics, webrings, and other items such as my "A-Team Acroynms (which has been plagiarized)" and "A-Team Timeline" all of which I may bring back at some point.

So whats New? Hopfully you will find the site much more visually impressive and easier to navigate with a revised weblinks section, as already mentioned much of the downloads have gone and the larger files that I have chosen to keep will be offered on a rotation basis., episode and show guides/FAQs have progressed form a list (LOL) to pages of constructive information, Merchandise section has been brought upto date and the video & audio entertainmet section now has detailed product specs with reviews, On The Jazz (A-Team fanzine) has no been moved from the downloads to information section and is now readable online, cellphone/pda downloads have now been re-vamped spurred by dramatically changing specs, revised site map which still needs more work but is much better than previous, improved introduction to the show, new Character & Cast Profiles/biographies. Finally much improved browser compatibility as the previous versions of the site where designed primarily for Microsft Internet Explorer, I'am now using not only MSIE but Mozilla Firefox which is fast becoming the most popular browser, to write and check the sites design with both programs running the site with no problems other than Firefox does'nt appear to support IE coloured scrollbars which creates visual upset in my sites appearance but this is a minor technicality, that for the moment will be forgotten about.

Where Next? You may have noticed an additional icon at the bottom right hand corner of each page, once I've completed the rest of site I will be adding "Printer Friendly" pages to most sections which of course will allow you to make a hard copy of the pages content for personal use. I have lots of new content that I will introduce for download, with the majority of these files over 8meg, not very big by todays standards, I know, but unfortunatly bigger than the free space that my web host allows. I could overcome this by using a file hosting service which only presents to me an unreliable temporary solution, which means that the only way that I can continue with the sites development on that side of things is to purchase my own domain, which now looks almost certain with the news of Yahoo! GeoCities network closure later this year, and of course having the site on its own domain would present hole new range of other options. Lastly design, one of the first things I need to look at is the coloured scrollbars in Firefox which leads me, maybe to a new design as the frames setup has posed some other problems for me, so maybe the next version will be a tradition single page layout.

Thanks for visisting "Fool" and hope you enjoy new version, please rememeber that it is still very much work-in-hand so alot of sections are either incomplete or not yet started, so my apologies for any inconvenience that this may cause.
